    I agree the way they use the checkerboard pattern is so in your face about it so I wanted to tone it down a bit.

    KENTUCKY WILDCATS DESIGN The checkerboard pattern has been a hot topic among Kentucky fans (mainly on their basketball uniforms) so I had to decide to keep it or go another route. I couldn't think of another design so I kept the pattern but made it more subliminal Kept the pattern on the sleeve caps but made them less visible Added a helmet and pants stripe with a subliminal checkerboard pattern Kept the same font HELMET Glossy blue and white helmet with white facemask No more chrome or matte helmets Added the new stripe (the current blue helmet doesn't have a stripe) "CATS" on the front bumper and "KENTUCKY" on the back bumper JERSEY Checkerboards on the sleeve cap are now subliminal matching the helmet and pants stripes Sleeve numbers from the Jared Lorenzen days are back I debated removing the chest text but I ultimately kept it PANTS White and blue pants New stripe is added replacing the weird template stripe SOCKS White socks with blue accents Up next will be 2 former conference rivals, Nebraska and Colorado.     NORTH CAROLINA TAR HEELS DESIGN North Carolina has a top uniform in college football so I didn't want to change much I put the collar and pants diamonds into a stripe that matches the helmet stripe Used the same font HELMET Carolina blue and white helmet with white facemask Changed the front bumper from the heel logo to "HEELS" JERSEY Put the diamonds into a stripe to match the helmet instead of a collar that's the same color as the jersey PANTS Carolina blue and white pants Put the diamonds in a stripe SOCKS White socks with Carolina blue accents Up next will be Kentucky.     TOLEDO ROCKETS DESIGN Like basically every mid-level D1 school, Toledo has had a variety of catalog looks from both Under Armour and Nike Most recently they went plain uniforms with the Michigan State font I gave them a unique design with the jet stream from the rocket being the stripe I also created a unique font that matches the font in the logo HELMET Navy and gold glossy helmet with navy facemask Enlarged the rocket logo slightly JERSEY Stripes go from the sleeve cap up to the top of the collar New font added PANTS Navy, gold, and white pants New stripes added SOCKS White socks with navy accents and navy socks with gold accents Up next will be a team with one of the best uniforms (if not the best) in all of college football, North Carolina.     FIU PANTHERS Updated the font so I just updated the font in the logo UNIFORMS DESIGN I really like the old FIU logo where the Panther is coming out of the grass so I tried to replicate that here with 2 tapered stripes on the sleeve caps with the panther prowling out of them The stripes could also represent Panther fangs or claws, especially on the helmet Updated to a new font HELMET Navy and white glossy helmet with navy facemask I thought about adding a gold helmet but FIU has never had a gold helmet so I just kept it at navy and white Paw pride stickers on the back Stripes added to the back of the helmet to replicate the look from the jerseys FIU has had a couple helmets with stripes but I consider FIU as a plain helmet team and putting the stripes on the back continues that look instead of putting a tapered stripe down the middle JERSEY New stripes added "FIU" chest text replaces "PANTHERS" New font added Changed the away numbers and text from gold to navy PANTS Navy, white, and gold pants Added new double stripes that taper at the top SOCKS White socks with navy accents Up next will be another navy team, Toledo.     USF BULLS DESIGN I wanted to give USF a more respectable look than what Adidas did with the duct tape shiny elements Continued to use the horn as the jersey stripe but added colors other than just gold HELMET Gold, green, and white glossy helmets with green facemask No more chrome or matte helmets Primary logo only. No more oversized logos Tampa flag on the back JERSEY Updated jersey stripe added The stripe, numbers, and chest text are given the same color treatment for cohesiveness (along with the logos on the green and white helmets) Changed the chest text to the USF logo, like how it used to be PANTS Gold, white, and green pants SOCKS White socks with green accents Up next will be another Florida school with gold as their secondary color, FIU.     BYU COUGARS DESIGN BYU needs to stop messing with navy and make royal blue their full time look as it is amazing Only change was to the helmet stripe but everything else remained the same HELMET Changed the double stripe to a Northwestern stripe to match the jersey and pants JERSEY Unchanged PANTS White and blue pants BYU looks much better in white pants but I kept the blue as an option to wear every once in awhile SOCKS White socks with blue accents Up next will be USF.     JAMES MADISON DUKES DESIGN Used the helmet stripe as the main design and added it to the jersey and pants Used the same font HELMET Gold and white helmet with purple facemask Virginia state/Bulldog logo on the back JERSEY Added stripes to the sleeve caps PANTS Gold, white, and purple pants Added the stripe SOCKS White socks with purple accents I hope everyone has a great holiday weekend and up next will be BYU.     MARSHALL THUNDERING HERD DESIGN Not much change from their current uniforms Added the helmet stripe to the jersey and pants Used the same fonts. I thought of making the fonts the same but I kind of like the different fonts HELMET Unchanged JERSEY Added stripes to the sleeve caps "THE HERD" on the home uniforms and "MARSHALL" on the away uniforms PANTS White and green pants Added the stripe SOCKS White socks with green accents

    Well yesterday was a crazy day in college football huh? I think the whole landscape of college sports is going to change drastically in the next coming days, weeks, months, and years. However, it seems like a great day to post teams that are switching conferences. Speaking of teams that are switching conferences, I will do the same thing with future teams that I did with the Sun Belt; I'll update the uniforms with the new conference logos whenever they switch conferences. So 2023 is the new Big 12 teams, 2024 the new Big Ten teams and so on and so forth. But for now, here's the 4 new Sun Belt Teams OLD DOMINION MONARCHS

    MIAMI (FL) HURRICANES DESIGN Another classic look that stays basically the same I did change the stripe colors around a little bit The current white stripe pattern is G/O/G on the helmet but O/G/O on the jersey and pants. I changed the stripes to G/O/G to match the helmet because I think the helmet is more iconic The orange stripe is W/G/W but the green stripe is O/W/O. I switched the green stripe coloring so white is the outside stripes just like the orange stripe coloring placement Last year, Miami went from block numbers to their Hurricane font but I switched back to the block font for the traditional look HELMET Changed the front bumper to "CANES" in orange with no outline Changed the back bumper color to orange with no outline JERSEY Changed the stripe colors on the away and alt jersey Changed the number font Removed the shield from the collar logo PANTS White, orange, and green pants Changed the stripe colors on the white and green pants SOCKS White socks with orange accents Since tomorrow is July 1st, the day in which the Sun Belt adds 4 new teams, I will be posting all the new teams. There will be 2 new concepts with James Madison and Marshall and then I'll post my edited concepts for Southern Miss and Old Dominion with the Sun Belt Conference logos.     STANFORD CARDINAL DESIGN A classic look stays mostly the same Used the same font HELMET Unchanged JERSEY Removed the black number outline PANTS White pants Added a stripe that matches the helmet SOCKS White socks with cardinal accents Up next will be Miami (FL).     KANSAS JAYHAWKS DESIGN Kansas is so close to having really good uniforms but their use of shiny silver numbers and lettering brings it down a lot The plain pants also creates a look that seems to want more Other than changing the numbers and lettering on the dark jerseys to white and adding pants stripes, I kept the uniforms pretty much the same Used the same Trajan font. I know that they have the circus font and a new font they recently rolled out but I like the Trajan especially since it's in the logo HELMET Blue and white helmet with white facemask It seems they switch between helmets with no stripes and helmets with a stripe but I kept the stripe I used the primary logo instead of the KU Kansas/Flag state shape on the back JERSEY Changed the numbers on the home and alt to white Removed the collar logo. It seemed to busy with all the logos and the chest text so I removed it Kept the collar and sleeve cuff colors PANTS White and blue pants Added the stripe SOCKS White socks with blue accents Up next will be Stanford.     MICHIGAN STATE SPARTANS DESIGN Michigan State has some really nice uniforms (when they're not trying to be different and go neon green) so I didn't change much Used the same font that has become synonymous with the program HELMET Same green and white helmet with white facemask Went back to the shield logo on the front bumper. They went with "STATE" this past year but I love the shield logo and think it should be utilized more JERSEY Unchanged PANTS White and green pants Removed the stripe on the white pants and made it into the same tapered stipe as the helmet with the pattern and opacity from the sleeve cap Added the new stripe to the green pants also SOCKS White socks with green accents Up next will be Kansas.     TEXAS A&M AGGIES LOGO Removed the bevels just like the helmet logo UNIFORMS DESIGN I love that Texas A&M went back to a simple design after their previous look I did go back to the old number font as they still use the text font and I think it looks better than the current numbers HELMET Unchanged JERSEY Old number font re-added PANTS Unchanged SOCKS White socks with maroon accents Up next will be Michigan State.     UNLV REBELS DESIGN Took the star from the Vegas sign and the previous logo (that lasted only 1 year) and made that the focal point of the design Separated the stripe with the star and made the stripe two-tone Black is always on top to "represent the Vegas night sky". I just thought it looked better There is no stripe on the jerseys but rather the design is in the form of the sleeve cap to make the star bigger My original design was just the star on the jersey but the pants and helmets felt empty so I added the stripe. I don't know if the stripe is to bulky but I think it works I used chrome silver for the stripes and number colors. I don't like chrome on jerseys or pants, but it's Vegas so I thought it would work 99% of the time I use the same text and number font but I like the mix of the UNLV text font and block number font HELMET Silver helmet with red facemask and red satin helmet with silver facemask New stripe added JERSEY Added the stripe/star as a sleeve cap design Removed collar color and chest text Changed the color of the away jersey numbers to red with a silver outline. I don't know how the silver numbers on a white jersey was ok'd by the NCAA PANTS Silver, red, and white pants Added the new stripe SOCKS White socks with red accents That's it for the red and black teams so up next will be Texas A&M.     I think the jerseys are amazing, especially the new grill/baseball logo with an M on the bottom but I wished the pants were powder blue too. The hats are bad though. I see what they were trying to do with the 414 and MKE but it doesn't work. This jacket is probably my favorite piece of merch

    The black helmet is fine, the stripe is terrible, but pairing it with the all white uniform is the worst move they could have done.

    Thank you all for the comments I really appreciate it! I took a chance with the white beak but I can see why the yellow beak is better. Also, I view Louisville as more of a modern team so that's why I opted for the modern look instead of the 3 stripe look. However, I added a fauxback look with the old football logo, striping, and drop shadow numbers. Here are the updated uniforms:

    LOUISVILLE CARDINALS LOGO Changed the beak to white I thought about changing the beak to red like a real cardinal but it was heavy red UNIFORMS DESIGN I don't mind Louisville's uniforms but I really like the Lamar Jackson era uniform's with the wings and the logo on the pants Replaced silver with black Kept the same font HELMET White helmet is the primary helmet and the primary logo returns instead of the two color logo Glossy red helmet replaces the satin helmet and the primary logo returns Matte black helmet but with the primary logo "CARDS" on the front bumper and "LOUISVILLE" on the back bumper JERSEY Wing is re-added to the shoulder cap Drop shadows are replaced by an outline PANTS White, red, and black pants Logo on the side SOCKS White or black socks with red accents Up next will be the final red and black team, UNLV.     MIAMI (OH) REDHAWKS DESIGN Used the Myaamia Tribe logo as the base of this design Miami has used this design before but inside the double stripe as a pattern. I don't mind that look but think taking it out of the stripe is better Kept the same text font and updated to a matching number font HELMET White or red helmet with red or white facemask New design added "MIAMI" on front bumper and "REDHAWKS" on the back bumper JERSEY New design added to the sleeve cap PANTS White and red pants New design added SOCKS White socks with red accents Up next will be Louisville.     ARKANSAS STATE RED WOLVES DESIGN I had a tough time coming up with a design for Arkansas State because they've just had Adidas templated looks I thought of creating some sort of stripe with the design in the eyes of the logo but nothing seemed to work So I finally settled on using the top of the wolf's fur on the logo Kept the same font HELMET Glossy black and red helmets with black facemask Added the design to the back of the helmet. I originally had it plain but I like the unusual placement of it STATE logo on front bumper and "RED WOLVES" on back bumper JERSEY Added new design to the sleeve caps Replaced the chest text with the "STATE" wordmark PANTS Black and red pants New design added to the bottom. Same idea here with the helmet to put the design in an unusual spot SOCKS Black socks with red accents Up next will be Miami of Ohio. Thanks for looking and as always, C&C is greatly appreciated!

    Thank you! That's exactly what I wanted to do with Utah, just clean up the mess a little bit. Thanks! Yeah Cincy has a great stripe it's just so small on the jersey I don't get it. I'm glad you like the concepts.
