VIRGINIA CAVALIERS

DESIGN

• There were some parts of Virginia's re-design that I liked but a lot I disliked
• The logos were a decent upgrade but the font didn't fit a historic school like Virginia. Not to mention it looks like Virginia Tech's font
• I don't mind the updated uniforms but I think the previous uniforms are pretty much perfect
• So I kept the logos, updated the font to a block font that resembles the throwback V logo, and went back to the three stripe design
• The darker stripe is always in the middle. I like this look for Virginia and it differentiates them a little from Syracuse

HELMET

• Glossy navy helmet with navy facemask
• Primary logo on both sides. I don't understand why Virginia uses numbers on one side when the logo is perfectly symmetrical
• ACC logo on front bumper and "VIRGINIA" on the back
• Virginia state outline on the back

JERSEY

• New stripes added but not as curved as before
• New number font added with outline

PANTS

• White, orange, and navy pants
• New stripe added

SOCKS

• White socks with navy or orange accents

UTEP MINERS

DESIGN

• The handle of the pick axe logo is the inspiration for the new stripe design
• I wanted to do something different for the jersey so the actual pick axe logo is used on the front as it wraps around the sleeve cap 
• Added a custom number font instead of a block font

HELMET

• Orange helmet with white facemask
• "UTEP" on the front bumper and "MINERS" on the back bumper
• Pickaxe pride stickers on the back

JERSEY

• New stripe and number font added
• Replaced the block chest text with the school's wordmark
• Removed gray from the blue jersey

PANTS

• Orange, white, and blue pants
• New stripe added

SOCKS

• White socks with orange accents

Only gripe would be the V on the collar, it's a little too big and I'd rather see the full Bulldog or Bulldog head there instead.

Thank you! I feel the same way that Fresno State looks best in a red helmet and only using blue as an accent color. 

So I updated the jersey by adding a new drop shadow to the text that matches the numbers and reduced the size of the collar logo.

FRESNO STATE BULLDOGS

DESIGN

• To me, Fresno State's best uniforms were the 2000-2010 uniforms before they received Nike templated designs
• I like that they went back to more traditional uniforms with Adidas, but I wanted to bring back the drop shadow numbers
• New block font to match the numbers

HELMET

• Red helmet with white facemask
• Primary logo and the script are both on the helmets
• Valley "V" from the collar on the logo stays on the back
• "DOGS" on the front bumper and "FRESNO STATE" on the back bumper

JERSEY

• New fonts added
• Added a V with the circle to replicate the dog's collar in the logo

PANTS

• Red and white pants

SOCKS

• White socks with red accents

KENT STATE GOLDEN FLASHES

LOGO

• Removed brown and replaced it with navy
• Added a white outline

UNIFORMS

DESIGN

• Took inspiration from the Chargers uniforms which is something Kent State has done in the past
• Instead of a generic lightning bolt, I used the tail of the logo (which is why the stripe stops at the shoulders)
• Updated the font to match their "Flash Fast" font

HELMET

• Gold and navy helmet with navy facemask
• Logo without the K on the front bumper and "FLASH FAST" on the back bumper

JERSEY

• New stripe added to the shoulders with sleeve numbers added underneath
• New number font and text font added

PANTS

• Gold, navy, and white pants
• No stripe on the pants to match the plain helmet

SOCKS

• White socks with navy accents

• Again, another traditional team with minor changes
• Updated the school font from the outdated font to a more traditional block font that matches the numbers

• Removed the chest text

PANTS

• Changed the stripes to match the helmet and jersey stripes

SOCKS

• White socks with blue accents

• Very minor changes to a team with one of the most traditional uniforms

• Changed the numbers to be the same font as the jersey numbers

• Changed the double stripe to a single stripe

SOCKS

• White socks with crimson accents

Yeah I thought of using Clarendon font but I wanted to keep the same font the rest of the school uses. But thank you though!

UCLA BRUINS

DESIGN

• Used the UCLA logo with the tail at the end of the script as the primary logo
• They already use that logo on the helmet so why not make it the primary
• Very minimal changes to the uniform

HELMET

• Added a white outline to the logo to make it pop a little bit more
• Changed the facemask to blue instead of gold
• Bruins script on front and back bumper

JERSEY

• Lengthened the stripes to the end of the collar instead of ending at the top of the triangle part
• Added a gold outline to the away numbers for more color

PANTS

• No change

SOCKS

• Blue socks with gold accents for the home uniforms and white socks with blue accents for the away.

• A team with a bunch of offseason changes does not see any changes to their uniforms

• I thought about putting the newer Trojan logo on the helmet but there was just too much red in the logo and blended in with the helmet

OSU- I think the throwback jersey they currently use has a better template for striping. Their current striping leaves a lot to be desired for me.

Liberty didn’t really hit home for me. Granted, I bias against striping that just uses logo as the striping. Good work overall!
 

Thank you, yeah I might be the only one that doesn't like Ohio State's throwback striping. I have no idea why I don't like it but those stripes just don't work for me. But, I agree with Michigan's white pants so I added them for the away uniform because why not:

For Ohio State, I would accept keeping the regular season template IF they made the middle stripe gray on the home jerseys. Doesn't make sense to me to add the gray for the away stripes but leave the colors redundant on the home. The basketball team figured this out but the football team won't seem to budge.

 

A couple minor touches I would love, but no one else is beholden to:

-Silver leaves on the back of the neck to represent our national titles (used on an old alternate)

-Block O instead of full primary under the collar

I just looked how the basketball team has the stripes and it's crazy how changing the middle stripe to gray makes it so much better. So for the new jerseys I changed the middle stripe on the home jersey to gray, added buckeye leaves on the back collar, and changed the collar logo to a block O.

OHIO STATE BUCKEYES

DESIGN

• Even less change to this classic uniform
• Updated the text font to match the new football field end zone text

HELMET

• New font on the back bumper
• Added the Ohio flag on back

JERSEY

• No change

• White socks with scarlet accents

MICHIGAN WOLVERINES

DESIGN

• Not much change to a classic uniform
• The main changes come to the away jersey

HELMET

• Added a "MICHIGAN" back bumper

JERSEY

• Changed the font of the player name to the same as the wordmark
• Removed the cuff stripes on the away jersey
• Added a gold outline to the numbers on the away jersey similar to their pre-Nike jerseys. This adds more maize to the jersey which is good considering my concepts only have maize pants

PANTS

• Maize pants. No blue or white pants, just maize
• I would understand having white pants but blue pants don't fit the team's look even if it was a good luck charm in 2021

SOCKS

• Blue socks with maize accents

LIBERTY FLAMES

DESIGN

• With a name like the Flames, it's kind of disappointing Liberty doesn't have cooler uniforms
• I also wanted to fix the inconsistencies between the red, white, and blue jersey, especially the font discrepancies 
• The flame is used as the main design
• Used the font Championship Serif which is the same font for the "FLAMES" wordmark

HELMET

• White, red, and blue helmet. I wasn't going to include a blue helmet but they seem to use it a lot so I kept it
• Enlarged eagle/flame as the helmet logo which they've used before
• University seal on the back

JERSEY

• Flame on the sleeve
• New font added
• LU logo on collar

PANTS

• White, red, and blue pants
• Flame added to the bottom of the pants

SOCKS

• White socks with red or blue accents

DESIGN

• Used the sword logo as the influence for the stripe design similar to how it was used in the mid 2000's uniforms
• Returned to the old font just without the curvature and beveling

• Steel gray helmet with cardinal facemask replaces the chrome helmet. Satin cardinal helmet with chrome facemask
• New stripe added 
• "TROY" on front bumper and "TROJANS" on back bumper

JERSEY

• New stripe design added to the shoulders reminiscent of the Titans uniforms
• New font added to the numbers and chest text

PANTS

• Silver, white, and cardinal pants
• New stripe added

SOCKS

• White socks with cardinal accents

TEMPLE OWLS

DESIGN

• You can go three ways with Temple; diamonds, barber pole stripes or both. I opted to go with the barber pole stripes.
• There are already other teams that have diamonds in their design (North Carolina), and I just like the barber pole design better.
• Also went with a mix of eras for the uniforms
• Stripe design from the 2007-2014 teams and jersey design from the 2015 team minus the diamond design
• Font is from the one introduced by Nike in 2020

HELMET

• Glossy cherry helmet with white facemask
• New stripe added
• "OWLS" on front bumper and "TEMPLE" on back
• Philadelphia flag on back 

JERSEY

• New sleeve design added with logo
• Removed the chest text
• Added collar logo

PANTS

• Cherry and white pants
• New stripe added

SOCKS

• White socks with cherry accents

Sweet thank you! For the red, I looked at other concepts and real horned frogs to see what would be the best way to add it and just a subtle addition looks really good. Here is the new logo and the updated uniforms:

(I'm the TCU fan here, so of course I'll have more thoughts on it than everyone else. But this is an improvement.)

Thanks for the feedback it's actually great you're a TCU fan so you can tell me exactly what the fans would like with this logo. I created two designs, one without red under the eye and one with red.

• Separated the feet from the legs. I tried to do individual toes like the current logo has but it didn't look good
• Separated the tail from the body
• Increased the spacing on the front legs from the body
• Added more shading (right legs, feet, and body)
• Added purple spikes to the right legs
• Straightened out the part between the tail and the back leg and in-between the two right legs and body

Thank you guys for the comments! Not going to lie, highlights and shadows are a weakness of mine when designing logos so thank you for the advice. 

I updated the logo with two designs, one with a faint shadow and one without.

• Added more spikes to the back and left foot
• Added more breaks to the side of the head
• Added purple spikes on the ears
• Re-added purple on the tail
• Straightened out the side and belly
• Added a highlight to the side of the body
• Updated the front feet

Thanks for helping me out and let me know which design you like better and/or if there's anything else I need to add or change.

TCU HORNED FROGS

LOGO

• Made the frog log the primary logo with a few touchups
• Removed a lot of the dots and got rid of some of the jagged lines
• I thought of using the '97-'05 logo but that one isn't as recognizable as this frog logo

UNIFORMS

DESIGN

• I think TCU did a great job with their current uniforms but I made a couple tweaks especially on the jerseys
• Used the same font

HELMET

• Glossy purple and matte black helmet with black facemask
• Kept the same stripe
• TCU on front bumper, HORNED FROGS on back

JERSEY

• Updated the collar spikes to either all black, purple and black, or all purple
• I like how it creates a modern but clean/plain look on the dark colored jerseys reminescent of the Andy Dalton uniforms. That's why I didn't use white spike colors
• Changed the white jersey spike colors to purple and black instead of purple and silver
• Changed the number colors on the purple and black jerseys from a shiny silver to white
• Moved the Nike logo down so it doesn't cover any of the spikes
• Collar logo added

PANTS

• Purple and black pants
• Added a tapered stripe to the pants to match the helmet stripe

SOCKS

• Black socks with purple accents

Thank you! I was actually thinking of putting the F on the helmet but opted for the gator. But, here is how it would look:

WAKE FOREST DEAMON DEACONS

DESIGN

• A mix of uniforms between Wake's current and previous uniforms
• Kept the number font, collar, and cuff coloring from the current jerseys and paired it with a simplified version of the old sleeve cap design based on the university logo
• Returned the old text font (with some minor changes) to match the logo

HELMET

• Satin gold and glossy black helmets replace the chrome gold and matte black helmets
• "DEACS" on front bumper and "WAKE FOREST" on back

JERSEY

• Updated sleeve design/stripe added
• Added shoulder numbers

PANTS

• Gold and black pants for the home jersey
• Gold, black, and white pants for the away jersey

Good work on Florida as well. Their biggest issue is their mismatching stripes on the orange jersey/pants next to the helmet.

DESIGN

• Mainly the same design for a traditional team but with a few changes
• The biggest change is replacing the Gators script on the helmet with the primary logo
• To me, the script is outdated and doesn't really fit the rest of the identity of the school
• The other change is slightly updating the font
• De-italicized the word mark and updated the "2" to match the number font a little bit better

HELMET

• Primary logo added
• Updated fonts on front and back bumpers. "GATORS" on front and "FLORIDA" on back

JERSEY

• Switched the placement of the SEC patch and the chest logo
• Updated the stripes on the orange jersey to match the rest of the uniform striping

PANTS

• Unchanged

SOCKS

• White socks with blue or orange accents
