My theory on why plain white "socks" has become so popular. Most guys don't even wear socks with that look. It's just their compression pants.

That video right there shows why its so popular. #11's pants are pulled above his knees, and wearing the same color leggings as pants makes that harder to notice in motion as it would with 2 different colors. Technically, that should be a penalty, or a fine, but the flag never gets thrown, and they make enough money not to care.

dude these teams deciding that they're gonna wear the white helmets with the white away jerseys has me tearing my hair out. the worst part about a team wearing a white helmet is that it looks boring asf when the team goes away and is wearing like all white basically. i dont understand why so many teams decide that "its le white out time!!!" when colored helmets almost always look better with white jerseys. i hate nike so much its unreal

It's not Nike, its the schools. Under Armour and Adidas teams also do this. Stop blaming the manufacture when it is the Equipment team that puts the combos together.

Maroon/Maroon/White against CB/White/CB would’ve looked so nice. First of many matchups this year ruined by mix n match.

VT has tended to wear orange in some form against UNC lately. This is the orange effect, so for the first time since 2018, they are actually playing along and breaking out orange jersey.

I'm more or less amazed that teams are sticking with Color Rush socks considering there's no requirement for them to do so.  The Giants could wear blue socks (or bring back 80s style socks) with the 80s throwback.

It’s because they have to look 🔥🔥 or ❄️❄️

I have some tolerance for a Braves player wearing yellow/gold accessories like that.  At least it looks like a color that's in their logo and on the front of their jersey, and not some random color that has no connection.  It's not, like, a "neon" yellow (THAT would look pretty bad).

Ozuna does this with Atlanta. I cringe everytime I see it...

OK, I guess I need to adjust my television settings then. LOL! I'll also add that the yellow accessories and shoes are a bigger eyesore

I love Acuna and all, but I have really been annoyed with the choice of accessory colors the last few years. I enjoyed seeing red sleeves begin to appear a few years ago, but the yellow and neon drive me insane. I was happy to see Ozuna in a white sleeve yesterday, but... I know it's only a few days before he breaks out the neon again.

If that was at worst, what was at best?  Maybe we watched a different Tony Romo.  He was certainly a good QB, but I don't think he was ever a threat to win a playoff game and I don't recall him ever being mentioned in the same breath as those HOFers.  He seemed to wilt when it mattered most, and the team would have been better off not staying attached to him forever.  I'm not trashing him, and I'm not putting him down because he played for the Cowboys (though that's tempting), but as an Eagles fan, I don't recall ever "fearing" Romo, or wishing that we had their QB situation, or really even caring at all.

As a WFT fan, I completely agree. I knew that they would win a decent amount of games, but never was concerned with them in the playoffs, and even though there were some annoying QB rooms in Washington, I never said that I wish I had Romo as my QB.

    Teal Primary back in Jacksonville?

The team has been unusually active today on Twitter, especially for February. Fans noticed that the first word of each of the last 7 tweets spell out the word "Primary"

    So now we wait.

Don't forget the banner picture that shows a loading bar along with new era. Could be nothing, but a good chance that it is a switch

What I’ve noticed this week so far that has stuck out to me the most...

It seems like the trucks and cars haven’t seem to have a whole lot of structural integrity like they normally do. It’s hard to fully explain, but all the wrecks that have happened leave badly mangled up vehicles on the track. More than usual. Just something about it seems... off.

it definitely has the can opener feel when a wreck happens. Between complete bumpers coming off, and the spitter just destroying the front end, idk how anyone is able to get back on the track if they have the slightest of wrecks

Yeah it looks like Oklahoma and Arkansas are wearing slightly different templates...Oklahoma definitely has the button-up look.

The Oklahoma uniform is on an older template. The one Arkansas has is the newest Nike template.

This is the Oklahoma template for this year, as posted in the College Baseball Thread

Houston’s reported asking price for Watson is-

    • Two 1st rounds

    • Two 2nd rounds

    • Two Defensive Starters

That is absurd. I get it that he is one of the top QBs in the league, but they are out of their minds. This feels like "we'll we put it out there and no one took us up on the offer, I guess we aren't trading him" mentality...

  12. And... We are in a world where some teams have 2 alternates now, and it used to be limited to just one alternate. Just saying... things change, and I could see a team like Baltimore or Houston that have only had one helmet color in their history, say that if Tampa can have a second helmet for their throwbacks, we should be able to have one for our "Battle Red" or Purple Color Rush uniform. Just a thought...

But it isn't just the amount of times you could wear it that causes the mass confusion, it's the combinations. 2 helmets, 3 jerseys, and 3 pants means 18 possible combinations, and that's not even adding in the socks. Teams like Jacksonville and Tennessee would literally never wear the same thing twice.

and if a team doesn’t have a throwback helmet to add, how long til one of them files a complaint to the league requesting a secondary helmet to be worn?
