  1. I would like them to wear teal over white for day home games (vibrant bright colors popping) and save the teal over black for late games.

For the road if they have to wear a colored jersey, then that's when they can wear the black jersey over teal. And then white over any of the three pants colors would do.

  2. A breakdown of the Jaguars' uniform history in their original design. I personally liked the inaugural version with their numbers and font. The change from 1998 is probably their best look.

1996 (patch removed, uniform remains the same)

1997 (black side panels are added and a custom font (for number and NOB) was introduced. After legibility issues with the new font, the Jags updated the new font midway through the preseason. Also, the pants stripe goes through a minor change with the gold stripes made thinner.)

  3. I have always liked the Panthers having the black jersey/silver pants combo and the white on white combo as their only combos ever. I didn't mind so much when the blue jersey came around since it was only worn a couple times a year. But once Richardson was kicked out then the mix and matching over everything really killed this team's identity uniqueness IMO. It was cool that an expansion team made little to not changes for so long and then all this happened in terms of combos. Now we got three jerseys and four pants in the rotation.

Are there any MLB teams that have never played each other? What about before interleague games began?  What if you don't count preseason and exhibition games?  Modern defunct teams okay, but obviously the Expos never played the Nationals.

I liked those Grizzlies colors, but the side panels always bothered me.

This side was fine. The striping from the jerseys continues on the shorts. Makes sense.

    But this side

What's going on here? Should've either not had a side panel on that side of the jersey, asymmetry isn't uncommon in the NBA, or have a matching stripe on that side of the shorts.

Bothered me as well. I like asymmetry in the 90s, but you gotta do it right.

I would guess it stopped when the divisions all had an equal number of teams. I think it was 1995, when Jacksonville and Carolina came entered the league and there were 30 teams.

But what happened when the Browns came back in 1999?

The Texans evened it out a few years later.

  7. To keep a winning streak alive, the A's for the only time ever wore gold tops (which they had worn during their win streak at home) on the road five years ago. The players assumed that the gold tops were only for home games, so they were bummed that they couldn't wear them. But that actually was never a rule for their unis so equipment manager Steve Vucinich brought the gold tops along without telling anyone. The players found out when they got to the clubhouse that they could wear the gold tops. They wore it for the series and have never worn the gold tops on the road since.

The old road caps as well with the Mets in their black outline unis during interleague.

  8. I think the Falcons may have worn this combo twice ever

    pocket.jpg

BEST Falcons combination imo. They look too similar to the Cardinals with black helmets in their current combination.

That was my favorite Falcons look too. The road version (white over black) was especially slick:

One thing I really liked about how Vick wore his socks with this was that it looked like the black socks had a white stripe that went right through the middle. A unique look that kind of made their black pants stand out even more to me.

  9. Because people are stupid and like to drink

And because of that, they want to get one to show all their friends that they're Irish (but not) and they drink a lot

This must be strictly a US thing... I don't think I've ever seen people wearing St. Paddy's jerseys in Canada. Are there actually officially licensed versions?

I've only seen caps, but not jerseys

  10. Was at the Coliseum for the A's/Giants game and there were so many fans wearing fake Giants jerseys. It was really alarming how many were out there and by the way they were acting, probably not real fans. They acted like bandwagon fans that have never been to a ballgame (cheering at every instance, screaming at every pop up thinking it's a HR, etc...)
