  1. Also the placement of the patches seems off. The patches are off, they should be further out on the shoulders.
  2. We all agree these are not perfect but this jersey cost me $20, as opposed to a slightly better one for $300.
  3. But who cares! You're a fan of a team, which means you're entitled to a jersey, right? If I am paying for the item, then yes. Except that you AREN'T paying for it. You decided jerseys were too expensive, so you purchase poorly-reproduced knock-offs instead. These so-called poorly produced knockoffs have lasted longer than the ones I purchased legitimately. They also look great, I would never wear one that looks like the crap posted here. Post a picture of your jerseys then, if you're so confident, skipper. He's a troll. He'll post legit ones and tell us they are the fakes. I will be happy to post pics of my jerseys, and I will only use real pics of my jerseys. I love how anyone who doesn't share your point of view is a troll, give me a break.

  5. But who cares! You're a fan of a team, which means you're entitled to a jersey, right? If the leagues overcharge for crap then I will purchase it elsewhere. How is this a difficult to grasp?
  6. No one has answered my question concerning designers, how many of the current MAJOR sports logos designers are paid royalties on each jersey purchased? I am guessing 0 so I am not hurting the designers in any way. A lot of people get away with murder too. I love how people equate murder and larceny with buying some jerseys from China Almost as crazy as equating stealing with jaywalking, huh? Buying jerseys from China is hardly stealing. I would never buy a jersey from the league at the price they charge for that crap but for $25 or so I will. It absolutely is stealing. You are stealing from the team, the league and Reebok/Majestic. They have the right to decide who gets to use/wear their likeness. The critea is simple, anyone who agrees to pay what they charge. If you don't agree to pay that, you have no right to wear it. Get it through your thick skull. Wearing a counterfeit jersey is stealing because it takes from the team, league and manufacturer what they would normally get from selling any jersey, whether or not you would purchase a jersey otherwise. You are paying the Chinese mafia for stealing likenesses from sports teams. Now, if you are going to come out with a simpleton argument like, "They are all rich and don't deserve money, so it's okay to screw them," (and some morons argue that anytime 'zomg! rich=evil' comes up), at least that would present an argument as to WHY you feel the way you do, albeit an immoral and irrational argument. Back in the day I would legitimately purchase jerseys until I bought a Takeo Spikes jersey which fell apart after 2 washes. I vowed to never get burned like that again. The fakes I buy look almost as good, sometimes better, cost less, and none have fallen apart like the replica I bought.

  9. Are they paid by the sale or upfront? I have Bills, PNX Cardinals, NYY, Minn Twins
  10. I completely agree. The War on Drugs has done more harm than good, and hasn't stopped anyone from doing drugs. But that's off-topic. The point is, don't expect a good product if you're saving that much - quality comes with a price. And honestly, people who wear fakes around are complete posers in my book. Not to mention all the violations of intellectual property laws. Your opinion of my choice of clothing doesn't matter to me, I am as real a fan of my teams as anyone else, and I don't care about not giving the leagues any more of my money. If you can show me the starving designer of any of the jerseys I buy then I would be happy to stop.
  11. But I can afford it, I choose not to pay their exorbitant prices, and instead get a solid counterfeit. Don't worry the leagues make more money off me than I save by buying fake jerseys.
  12. Explain your username then. Making excuses is just in insult to our intelligence. I found this site by being directed to this thread. After reading it I made a user account to comment on the thread, I wanted to make my stance very clear.
  13. I doubt I would purchase a Manitoba jersey, does this member receive royalties every time one is purchased? If that were the case I would buy it legitimately if I were to buy one. If trolling is engaging in a conversation with people who have a differing opinion than myself then yes I am trolling.
  14. If it is such a crime how come no one I know has ever been arrested for it and I cannot find any instance of anyone being arrested for just purchasing. I am not a previously banned member, I may not agree with what 99% of you are saying, and you may all think I'm an but I can assure you that I am new and not a previously banned one.
  15. Look up the cases involving counterfeit jerseys, they involve people buying and then RESELLING for a PROFIT.
  16. Just because I buy 50 doesn't mean I have them all, I give them to my friends. I have stated that previously, please try and keep up with the conversation if you are going to be involved.
  17. Right, but if the Feds were to go after him they would go through the service provider to pinpoint his exact location, no matter what size the city was. So the feds are going to waste resources to locate me, arrest me, and prosecute me for owning about 5 fake jerseys. I have never made a dime off of them, the cases that get prosecuted are the ones involving the sales of hundreds and thousands, not possessing. People have asked me why I wouldn't sell them at 3 or 4 times what I pay, it is because then I would leave myself open to a legitimate lawsuit. They would also need to prove who has been typing these messages. You may be designers but you are not very bright when it comes to the law and it's reaches. Stick with what you know which is apparently criticizing other mens choice in clothing,
  18. The argument begins with the anti fake jersey crowd saying that those of us who buy the fakes are costing the leagues money they deserve, when we refuse to acknowledge that as a valid point they move right onto the alleged child labor violations. If someone showed me a sweatshop in China where children are being abused and forced to make my jerseys I would immediately stop buying them.
  19. I am going to venture that a lot of the products we (Americans) buy are produced in less than ideal work conditions. If they showed me a sweatshop with little kids stitching up a jersey while they are beaten I would stop buying them. I am guessing the conditions are not that bad. The Leagues markup after they get them from overseas is where I see the problem. Apple had to have employees sign a "no suicide" agreement because so many killed themselves. http://www.geek.com/articles/apple/foxconn-asks-workers-to-sign-no-suicide-pledges-2011057/ How many of you visit this site on your iPad or Mac? How many have an iPhone?
  20. There's only 8000 people in your town of Doylestown, Pennsylvania -- i'm sure not many of them sell counterfeit jerseys with a lawyer father. Wow this may have finally shut him up, thank you Chris. I do not live in PA, why would you think that? Only because he has the tools to look up a user's IP address, and may have already turned over what you have said to the proper authorities. They don't take kindly to counterfeiters in prison, you better have some steel underwear. This has gotten pretty hilarious. I'm eagerly awaiting the authorities busting in my door with this thread printed out. I will keep you guys posted!

  22. I do not sell the jerseys, I give them to my friends. If I were to be arrested I would claim I have no idea and there would be no proof otherwise except for this site. I used a burner email account and will delete all evidence once I am done. There is also the fact that no one cares except for you guys.
  23. My father is a corporate lawyer who deals with international business contracts, he has an extensive knowledge of these types of laws. Nothing is happening to me, if I were selling for profit or personal gain I could be but since I am not I am good.
