That assumes Orlando was available as another hub.
My suspicion is that this was less about a burning desire to bring back the Showboats than it was that Memphis was available to serve as a hub. If USFL nostalgia was the sole driving force, the Bandits would come ahead of the Showboats . . . and even farther ahead of the Federals.
I do agree but what explains Detroit being used as a hub city also?
And no they’re not ripping off the Wolverines.. they’re are only so many color combinations

The XFL just took two of their QB's in Luis Perez and Kyle Sloter. Now they were technically free agents because they had been released by NFL teams but there were indications that they were returning to the USFL.
Couple more will be leaving soon also. Ta’amu and Bryan Scott will both be announced in January in supplemental draft.

Anyone find a good version of the secondary?
-
But they're not called the riverboats, they're called the showboats which is why I'm okay with the logo. It looks like a speed boat and a lot of the "showboats" I know own a speed boat haha
But I have a question.. What other cities would a team called "Showboats" work with? Asking for a friend haha

I actually like this. Happy they changed the colors and updated the logo. The league had too much red and I have no loyalty to the original league so I’m okay with it.

Sounds like 3 hubs for new USFL. Memphis and Birmingham like we called.. but also Detroit?
-
Agreed. That was first thing I noticed from that picture. A much more well balanced league color wise than my XFL rebuild. Dang. Nice work.

Those suppose to look like sweatpants ?

There is also a new IFL team called the Tulsa oilers which resembles the Houston oilers from the nfl much closer than the xfl team ever did

I think you’re spot on with the second hub city. I agree that that is the reason and I posted that in a different thread. They want a second hub city and since the league is a single entity it’s easy to just “relocate” a team now before negotiating with new stadiums anyways

Sounds like the Bandits are leaving the USFL in real life and they’re bringing back the Memphis Showboats
-
Have you thought about maybe putting longer teeth on the current Guardians real life logo and going with a “saber cats” team name? I still don’t think that really fits Orlando but it’s better than Guardians
-
Thought for sure we would be getting the Tenneesse Titans here. I’ll be rooting for the St Louis Battlehawks
-
You going to give Antonio Brown’s proposed XFL team a logo makeover as well? It’s needed
-
Something is still off on the Brahmas logo but I can’t explain what it is. I liked how you combined so many ideas into one however and it’s a major improvement.
Love that Guardians set from 2020 and the new colors do work for it, but the gargoyle look just doesn’t work for Orlando so I can’t wait to see what you do there.
Give the new secondary from the Battlehawks a look over. I think you can do something pretty cool there.

Do the battlehawks one
-
Love it.. but we are waiting for the Guardians and the Brahmas. Those are the two most controversial logos in this league I feel

Can't wait to see these logos colored

New secondary's were released this morning. I can't link from my phone while busy-ish at work. Hope one of you can find them and share. Thanks.

Huge upgrade, however I still don't see a football logo here. This also gives me the vibes of a LFL team logo.. maybe for the Vegas Vampires or Vixens haha

Seattle Dragons 2020 helmet/logo is much better than the UAB helmet/logo

I’d rather have the V (old or new) as the secondary rather than the newer secondary, which is just terrible. I like the route you took with the primary tho.
USFL (Alt History)

UFL start prior to 2010 so I’m leaning towards him referring to a FXFL team.
