  1. This is very exciting. If they put in a throwback, it would be incredible. I think they went a little too simple with this set but whatever. Things are pointing up for the Jags.
  2. Hardcore agree. I also am of the opinion they should drop the teal pants. I think this last uni set was done more by Coughlin than anything. It would be great if they would intro a throwback and eventually transition to a modified version of the original jersey.
  3. The helmet's the best part. They nailed that. The home jersey is pretty good to. Nice tribute to their best look while retaining some of the new aspects. Don't hate the gradient. The patch is dumb. However in regards to the stupid grey uniforms, I picture the following: Nobody: Nike: Hey Mr. Kroenke, we have an idea! How about we take the Seahawks grays but somehow make them worse? Kroenke: Great!
  4. Man I dig these. The navy color rush are fire. These are really cool and I can't wait to see them on the field. Powder with yellow pants is my favorite combo. They out-Brownsed the Browns and out-Bucsed the Bucs as far as introducing a modern classic.
  5. If there was ever any hope that they are dumping the gold crap and moving to the classic uniforms...
  6. Niners are euthanizing their black alts and unveiling a new alt for next year. https://www.ninersnation.com/2018/5/17/17364882/49ers-new-alternate-uniforms-2018-replacing-black All white? All gold? Throwback? Anything's better than that black thing.
  7. That mockup at the top is awesome.
  8. Mike Singletary named the head coach of the Memphis team. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2018/05/10/mike-singletary-named-coach-of-memphis-aaf-team/ In the linked article, PFT lists additional cities/areas as South California, Phoenix, and Salt Lake City.
  9. "We have three players that should be in the Hall of Fame; Tony Boselli, Fred Taylor, and Jimmy Smith." He is not wrong. I never watched the Titans video or the Fins' one, but the lack of marketing speak in the first five minutes is nice.
  10. Is this the one they showed at the draft night thing?
  11. https://www.commercialappeal.com/story/sports/2018/05/05/memphis-awarded-alliance-american-football-team/583500002/ Memphis has been awarded the third franchise in the AAF. Hines Ward will announce the head coach sometime this week.
  12. Atlanta is officially an AAF location. They will play at GSU stadium, formerly Turner Field. https://aaf.com/atlantaalliance Head coach Brad Childress, Offensive Coordinator Michael Vick.
  13. Statements! “True to our current identity and what we want to represent for years to come, our new uniforms are no-nonsense, all business and unmistakably Jaguars,” Jaguars Owner Shad Khan said. “Tradition has returned to Jacksonville.” “I wanted to see the return of tradition, I wanted to see the distinctiveness, I wanted the shiny black helmet with a beautiful Jaguars logo,” said Jaguars Executive Vice President of Football Operations Tom Coughlin. “I wanted to be represented that way. Just exactly how I've explained it: the classic Jaguar uniform. To a player, the uniform means everything. Because when you put that uniform on you not only represent your franchise, your team, your community; you represent your family. You represent your parents, your wife, your children, everything packed into one because your name is on the back of that uniform.” Coughlin added, “A traditional, classic, distinctive National Football League uniform that could be related to.” “We have three players that should be in the Hall of Fame. Tony Boselli should be in the Hall of Fame, Fred Taylor should be in the Hall of Fame and Jimmy Smith should be in the Hall of Fame. The thing that's important for me in thinking about this uniform is the connect. The players of the 2018 Jacksonville Jaguars will wear a uniform, that when they see those three people inducted into the Hall of Fame, they can relate directly to that. That's the distinctive, traditional, classic, uniform of the Jacksonville Jaguars.”
  14. First couple games at home, they wear white traditionally.
  15. Hey sarcasm, I am not trying to be... sarcastic. He states this with 19:23 left in the video. He mentions Full Block has been used in the past, but this is "Full block modern."
  16. Sure facebook.com/jacksonvillejaguars Scroll down to "WATCH: 2018 State of the Franchise" Skip to the end where Brian Sexton is introducing the uniforms.
  17. Oh gosh yes! I'm glad I wasn't the only one thinking that. "Tradition... we know what that means." "BLACK PRIMARIES!!!" Like, really? Come on. Maybe it lets them save face to next week and they can say "we heard from the fans... teal is primary!" but that would be an extraordinary thing that I doubt would happen.
  18. PROS: The helmet is great The 3D bumpers are cool I dig the font I like the color combinations - you wanna go classic, bust out that teal jersey and white pants The shield kinda survived - "JAX" moves up, logo stays I like the pop of color from the swoosh and the collar slash This set grows on me the more I look at it, they definitely are better than the Titans revamp CONS Away jersey needs teal numbers Teal should be primary (have I beat the dead horse enough yet?) There should be another sleeve stripe I'm gonna miss the 13-17 font
  19. One thing I would ask is that the Jags please don't unitard the black - use the different pants. Can't find a black jersey and teal pant combo in the release photos, but that may look cool.
  20. Wow, talk about getting rid of gold - the team has had gold helmet numbers for the entire existence of the franchise; based on the pictures in the news post, the helmet numbers are teal.
