Locally the H-Town alts have near unanimous praise, so it matches what I've seen and heard.

Call me crazy, but the McNairs hinted at something still to come. 

We haven't seen Stroud in any of these, I'm going to predict he's got a white helmet for a white out look at the unveil.  Would keep with the 3 shell rule.

EDIT - ehhh I think they have two blue shells, and the alt has red flake which seems like a waste.

Really pleasantly surprised with the general reaction to the Texans look. Mixed here (better than I thought) and overwhelmingly positive in general. I was mainly worried they'd be bad and then I was worried it would be a Denver like mass panning of them.

I really like everything I've seen from the Texans so far. Hope they do well with the pants and red helmet. I'm thinking these will be much more popular seen on players/in-game.

seems like such a waste of the 3 helmet rule if they go that route. You can’t see the flake unless super close.

 This is fan concept that's been around. Paul Lukas source confirmed the CTESPN leak as legit. 

I really like the Texans set. It is far more cohesive than they sold it. I'm curious for pants and helmet options.

Lions really nailed it. Wish they’d been consistent with the word mark on all 3 or off of all 3. The black alt is one of the best in the league.

I submitted what felt like a 4-page thesis statement on how they only needed to make small changes to their current set, needed to maintain good color balance if they did change, and had to do their best to not invite Titans comparisons eith the use of "houston blue".

 

Seems like they wanted to reinvent the wheel from the get-go, or they just took their favorite ideas from the feedback and mashed them up in a set with no cohesion.

Reaction split is getting increasingly interesting to me. Texans fans near unanimous in praise, other fans nearly all hate it. 

Thinking of the 3 shell rule. Would it be possible for the Texans primary home uniform to have a white helmet, even if their primary road helmet is navy blue? Would they then be able to interchange those? They hinted there are 3 helmets and the road and one alt has one shell,  so I'm curious. There's a graphic list they released that I read as the home uniform might be white helmet red top? 

Edit - Looking now that doesn't necessarily  add up because the H-Town helmet is navy not Light blue

Interesting reaction so, my Houston heavy Twitter feed really likes them, but replies on national tweets or this board negative. 

I really like the H logo. Surprised it’s just the same primary Shell.
