Could we get red v blue next week? I’d hate it, but maybe?Absolutely not. I just mean I hope we we see more red for their future home games.

A playoff W in red should hopefully help the Bucs overcome their recent white jersey infatuation. Hopefully it goes back to being a Sept/Oct thing.
I’m also glad the Eagles are taking an L in their terrible overused white unitards.

The Lions winning is a great story, but I almost wanted the Rams to win so that Rams at Bucs could finally happen with the Bucs in red. Would've been a very eye-catching matchup with the Rams in yellow pants.

Packers/Niners is easily going to be the best looking Divisional round game. KC/Buffalo if it happens would be a close 2nd
Don't sleep on a potential Eagles all-white against Lions all-blue

There is the confirmation we didn’t even need. Tampa wore red four times this season and not once did the opposing team wear a jersey, pant, or sock that wasn’t white or black.
Eagles twice in all-white
Jags and Saints each in white/black/black.

How many teams don't let players wear socks that don't match the team? I've never seen the Packers or Raiders allow it.
Jacobs did it on Thanksgiving a couple years back.

Why do I still choose to scroll through the comments on these Twitter announcements? I'm almost always disgusted by what I read.
Careful, that's a touchy subject on here...

Can we stop complaining about social media captions like this? We get it, you don't like team social media accounts trying to be relatable. It's starting to get old and most importantly I don't even care what these teams post most of the time, the Texans account could have tweeted "Pee pee butt fart" for all I care.
Dude, calm down. The post was about their uniform for the week and I briefly pointed out at the end that the caption didn’t even make sense. The comment below me even agreed.
I’ll stick to complaining about white pants with white socks like 80% of the posts on here if that’s preferred. Oh, and why would anyone have a problem with pee pee butt fart? That would be objectively humorous.

No navy pants as some speculated. Oh, and that caption might be the worst offense yet.

This seems to suggest red/pewter for Monday night. Any shot Philly wears green pants? Beat Tampa in all-white already, 4-0 in all-white on the season, and dropped the last two in white/green. I hope I'm wrong.

A while ago it was brought up about when was the last time Miami wore white at home for a night game. Prior to the week 18 Buffalo game, the games where the Dolphins wore white at home, 2004 against Steelers and 1997 against Bears, were originally a daytime game. What game had the Dolphins wearing white jerseys at home that wasn't moved, that was a nighttime start?
The game last Sunday technically wasn’t originally a daytime start. Every Week 18 game was listed as TBD, with three primetime slots available. I think the decision was more of a “icy, all-white, drip, whiteout, we beat the Bills in this combo last year” decision rather than a daytime heat decision. Pretty much anyone could’ve guessed this game wasn’t ever gonna be played at 1pm. At least the loss means it hopefully won’t happen again.

If only teams with bad uniforms were aware of said badness and actually felt inclined to change their uniforms as quickly as possible. This is not always the case. It took the Broncos and Cardinals decades to realize they looked like trash every week.
The Titans and Jets at least have popular throwback uniforms that could make them realize how lousy their regular uniforms are, but the Jaguars seem content in their practice uniforms.

“Not just the same design in different colorways” is terrifying. Sounds like another Commanders/Cardinals situation. How delightful..

Its ridiculous that they always get the saturday day game slot.
It's one of those things that the NFL seems to think is clever/traditional, when in reality it's just annoying.
There are other non-glamorous Wildcard slots if the league dislikes the Texans so much. Why not put them Sunday at 1 or on Monday night for a change? Instead it's the least appealing game of the weekend on Monday and the second straight year Tampa is hosting that one.

Browns Texans is likely to be a repeat of Week 16, unless Houston wears all-navy, which it has done several times before. I hate that they always play in this exact Saturday slot literally every time they make the playoffs.
Miami should be in white over aqua, which would clash nicely with KC in red and make up for that visual dud in Germany.
Bills should stick with blue on white, which they keep winning in and would make for a great-looking game with Pittsburgh..
With how little playoff success Dallas has had recently and against Green Bay, could they shock us all and wear navy against the Packers for a change? I would love that. I believe they are 4-0 in navy this year.
Rams Lions could very well feature both teams in blue pants. Maybe the Rams wear their Super Bowl combo, but maybe they stick with their seemingly preferred blue pants. At least the shades are a bit different. If they wear yellow pants, every game on Sunday will have one team in yellow pants with Green Bay and Pittsburgh playing in the other windows.
Eagles Bucs is sure to disappoint in some way. The Eagles probably think the green pants are bad luck and will go back to the undefeated all-white look if Tampa even wears red, which I’m not counting on. -

I don't know why the Rams refuse to wear white over yellow against the Niners, even though they love wearing blue over yellow against them.
They haven’t worn it against the Cardinals or Seahawks either. Makes no sense.

So after losing at home in the playoffs each of the last two years wearing white uniforms, surely the Bucs are gonna break out the reds next week, right?
(Eagles vs. Bucs, 2021 Wild Card round; Bucs win 31-15)
(Eagles vs. Bucs, 2023 reg season; Eagles win 25-11)
We're wearing white again, aren't we?
Maybe they go red/pewter instead of white pants? These superstitions are so arbitrary and selective that who knows what past factors and elements will be taken into consideration.

Delete the Arizona Cardinals franchise from existence. They have just gone AN ENTIRE SEASON wearing exclusively monochrome combos. I am absolutely disgusted by this mockery of uniform aesthetics. Anyone who said "don't worry, they'll mix and match eventually" was unfortunately proven wrong.
“Eventually” could mean next year or the year after, but I agree this team is pathetic for thinking highly of itself for sticking with three generic, uninspiring uniform combos all season.

Dolphins confirmed white everything and all the fans are happy and claiming that the aqua jerseys are “cursed” based on one late-game choke job.

I've been wanting NYJ@NE to have the Jets in green pants with the white jerseys against the Patriots current navy. How long until we get this uniform matchup? Are we ever going to get it?
They do not seem to like their white over green look anymore, as it’s only been worn at Buffalo each of the past two seasons.
Many people want the throwbacks to return full-time (shocker), and I’m wondering if they would even have green pants as an option if they went that route.

Browns are finally avoiding the orange pants in Cincinnati. And of course it’s for a completely meaningless game.
The Saints are an embarrassment. And next preseason everyone will think the gold pants are “back” when they wear them for all three games like always.
Eagles are going green pants, which they always seem to wear against the same teams over and over again, but rarely against new teams.

The ideal AFC North/NFC South matchups for me would be:
BAL NO - hoping the Ravens at least wear purple pants this time
CLE TB - I've never seen the Bucs wear red against Cleveland, and this could be a prime time Baker revenge game
PIT ATL - Atlanta wore throwbacks in 2022, ideally would see the modern black on white this time (unlikely)
CIN CAR - I've never seen this matchup with the Panthers in black

What outcomes to do you want?
I’d love another crack at Dolphins Lions since the matchup last season was all-white vs. all gray.

I can live with the Lions in all-blue when this is what this matchup looked like last time Tampa visited Detroit.
