I don't like side panels, and I don't like monochrome, but something about this uniform has grown on me over time. I actually really enjoy seeing these now.
I think something about the big, orange stripes breaking up the monochrome works for me. In a division with red and powder blue teams, this solid navy acts as a nice contrast, too.
The abundance of orange makes this uniform work and clash nicely with just about any opponent's uniform. It simply looks better than the orange jerseys both within the division and outside.
If a team like the Falcons would utilize red as a secondary color in this manner, their all-black uniform would be more tolerable.

Broncos of course had to pack their white leggings for this one and make their mediocre uniforms look worse. They are the next team that Nike will ruin entirely next year when they roll out a set of all white, all blue, and all orange.

I always forget the Cowboys do the red helmet stripe game once a year and it catches me off guard when I see it. This is the first time they’ve done it against a division opponent.

Pats in all-navy and Lions in all-white, just as we were all hoping to find out this morning.

I wish this guy would at least address why the team hates the green pants/jerseys.

To be fair, the Jets and Eagles never should've been able to wear these in the first place. The other teams at least use black as a primary color, and most of them mix and match enough that white on black isn't worn that frequently.
Yes, they're not perfect, black leggings, etc. but I welcome this look from the Panthers because it provides some contrast and improved color distribution. The thick blue stripe with silver trim really pops on the black.
The all-white look has been worn so many times over the years that I welcome the new uniform matchups brought about by the black pants. I especially prefer them when the opposing team is in white pants:

My thoughts on the week's matchups:
-Panthers/Bears will be an eyesore
-Colts/Pats would be great with the Pats in silver pants and the Colts in blue socks, but neither of those are likely
-Ravens are confirmed to be all black, so that's going down the drain
-Packers/Steelers looks as good as it possibly can with the Steelers going with block numbers
-Hopefully the Texans don't go with all white at Cincinnati (I don't even think the black-striped pants and black socks are that bad)
-Saints/Vikings can go either way depending on pants/socks decisions
-Niners/Jaguars will be good but not great (thanks, Jacksonville)
-Titans/Bucs isn't great, no matter what pants the Bucs wear with their white jersey. Titans all-navy will be just as hideous as ever.
-Falcons/Cardinals will be brutal
-Lions/Chargers should be good as long as the Lions don't wear practice pants
-Giants/Cowboys is standard (good, not great)
-Commies/Seahawks should be good
-Jets better not wear black pants. Wearing them against the Raiders will be almost as bad as when the Lions deployed their abomination against the Raiders
-Broncos/Bills will be good if the Bills wear white pants
Nice breakdown. Ravens are wearing the black next week on Thursday night. This week's combo will likely be announced today.
Bucs confirmed pewter pants, but I agree who even cares. My dream of white/columbia vs. red pewter has been shattered.

What a joke. So the Bucs can wear red on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve and that's it. That's gotta be the fewest ever. If the road team is choosing all-navy, heat can't be that much of a factor...

If the Commanders stick with burgundy pants/white socks, that will be a fun matchup between those two!
Maybe the popularity of the throwbacks is getting them to drift away from the mono navy, which would be quite miraculous if it stays this way.

Not surprising at all that the Bears are wearing the oranges. They have become one of many teams that needs to have 2-3 home primetime games in order for the regular home uniform to be worn for any of them, which is crazy to think about with how much of a classic their uniform is considered.
Steelers should’ve gone Color Rush against the Packers to minimize the yellow.

Another thing with the Saints is that a lot of the fans seems to like the gold pants. Many of these mono-heavy teams get lots of positive feedback on it from the fans. ("Bro, the all-black is fire!", "Fam the all-white is clean AF", etc.)
Every Saints comments section I read is mostly fans $hitting on the white and black pants. Seems like it's more of a player preference in this case.

Thankfully a Jets L tonight likely means we avoid black pants against the Raiders next week. That would’ve been brutal to look at.

The Bengals seem to wear this look once per season and it's so pointless. They go from orange stripes and socks last night to no orange at all below the waist.

Since the redesign, the Bucs have worn pewter pants for like 90% of their games prior to this season. I don't think they suddenly dislike them.
I'm hoping they break out the red jerseys this week with so few opportunities left to do so.
The Titans wore navy at Tampa Bay in 2015 and 2007.
My only memory of Tampa in red against the Titans was for this preseason game a few years back:

Having a color TV has finally paid off this weekend. This game looks outstanding.

Wow, an NFC South team in all-black. Haven’t already seen that twice today or anything.

I’m so sick of the Falcons in all-black. White pants would’ve looked so much better today, but they seem to save that for road games these days.
-
Ravens are in white socks at home for some reason. This crap is just nauseating at this point.

Miami wearing all white. Shameful and disappointing.
Seems like a case of “We lost to the Bills and Eagles in aqua pants, which means it’s bad luck, so let’s stick with the combo we’ve been beating all the bad teams in.”Team should always show off their colors for international games. The Dolphins are known for their aqua, yet it’s barely visible outside of the jersey numbers.

And given that two other teams in the NFC South wear black as their primary, I really miss the Falcons red.
Not to mention the Bucs have been wearing less red than ever lately.
