I've been wanting NYJ@NE to have the Jets in green pants with the white jerseys against the Patriots current navy. How long until we get this uniform matchup? Are we ever going to get it?

They do not seem to like their white over green look anymore, as it’s only been worn at Buffalo each of the past two seasons.

Many people want the throwbacks to return full-time (shocker), and I’m wondering if they would even have green pants as an option if they went that route.

  2. Browns are finally avoiding the orange pants in Cincinnati. And of course it’s for a completely meaningless game.

The Saints are an embarrassment. And next preseason everyone will think the gold pants are “back” when they wear them for all three games like always.

Eagles are going green pants, which they always seem to wear against the same teams over and over again,  but rarely against new teams.

  3. The ideal AFC North/NFC South matchups for me would be:

BAL NO - hoping the Ravens at least wear purple pants this time

CLE TB - I've never seen the Bucs wear red against Cleveland, and this could be a prime time Baker revenge game

PIT ATL - Atlanta wore throwbacks in 2022, ideally would see the modern black on white this time (unlikely)

CIN CAR - I've never seen this matchup with the Panthers in black

Jerseys worn for every game are picked out prior to the season starting and no one knew this would be a primetime game till this week so they probably picked out the white and are unable to change it now.

I know they are, but these were two playoff teams last season with even higher hopes this year, so it was very likely that this was gonna be a late afternoon or night kickoff, where heat/sun would not be a factor in January.

Regardless of kickoff time, Miami hasn’t worn white at home in its finale since 2014, which is why this is puzzling.

  5. Reminder that while the Saints do sometimes wear black on gold when the Panthers or Bucs come to town, they have not worn that combo against Atlanta since the 2007 season.

I’m expecting to see the Ravens in black again on Saturday. It’s only been worn twice and they always wear it three times and usually vs. Pittsburgh. They wore it back to back weeks last season and may do so again. I’d rather see Color Rush purple for this one.

All white with aqua socks for Miami today. Their pregame post seemed to indicate aqua pants.

They made and deleted a separate post specifically saying it was aqua pants. They have done this before a couple times over the years.

I was fully expecting aqua since they beat the Ravens in them last year and won their last game in them this year by 30.

It has become so disheartening to watch the Lions' uniform combinations devolve into full-on Cardinals/Commies territory.

It makes me appreciate the more traditional teams even more: Packers, Bears,  49ers, Steelers, Raiders, Chiefs, Cowboys, Giants...

With these teams holding steady, I still believe the NFL looks good far more than it looks bad. The Bears haven't messed around with monochrome this year, the Chiefs haven't gotten cute, and the return of all of these amazing throwbacks offsets the usual leotard and sock shenanigans.

The worst part about the Lions situation is that they won their division for the first time in three decades during their worst uniform season ever, which will inevitably generate a positive association in most people's brains with these mono looks.

Fantastic looking game, yes, but part of me wishes the Fins would’ve worn the white version of this throwback (they have that, right?) so we could see the Cowboys in blue and to continue the troll job of forcing them to wear the uniforms they hate.

I agree it would’ve been nice to see the navy jerseys, but they don’t hate them. In fact, they are choosing to wear them for multiple home games this year.
