Hm, as much as I'd like to go under-70 for the cut-off, the Jackets would be under the bar and I think they're fine. So idk.
I have a question to ask, do you guys feel like we're a little harsh on the fanbases like say the Coyotes? Just curious, not trying to be mean.

Is Canada considered a "large" country? Do they base that on population or geography?
They base it on the largest bribes.

2019: Sensing that the walls are closing in, Notre Dame relents and finally joins the ACC in football. It brings the league back up to 15 teams.
I think it's only inevitable. Though the ACC would probably always want to remain an even numbered set of schools, thus creating a bidding war or whatever for another spot.
Yeah and I think the American would die before Louisville rejoins

Lets put a NHL team in Truth or consequences, New Mexico
no Intercourse, Pennsylvania sounds better.
For Satan's Kingdom, Massachusetts we can move the Devils there.
-
Oh look, TrueYankee is also doubling the NBA like I did with the NFL and MLB let's see what he...
San Diego Clippers
..oh
-
Expand to Phoenix, of course!

Watch the NHL give an expansion team to the group in a suburb of a city that doesn't even really want hockey over the ready-to-go arena in the hockey hotbed of Quebec City. Just watch it happen.
Are you saying any of us would be surprised?
Is Tukwila way out there or something? I'm pretty optimistic about Seattle as an NHL market, so I'm curious why everyone's discussing it as a bad idea.
-
True, but that won't stop Mr. Bettman! The expansion groups probably have arena plans anyways if they're applying.
-
I see..
Yotes move to Vegas (I'm actually slightly neutral to this idea, I'll need to see it fail to believe)
Seattle and Quebec expansion
Florida to Toronto in the near future.
-
Because an NBA team would never work in St. Louis.
-
Is the Canadian dollar better yet? I thought it was until I saw someone on reddit say it's below .90 of the US Dollar. Is that bad?
-
Oh Lord. Move the Coyotes to Vegas and they're staying there for 15-20 years.
15? I'll take the over. What are the odds on Vegas gold? Will there be a cow skull or playing cards in their branding? Let's put some money on this. Make it interesting.
Definitely over. I'll say black/red/Vegas gold. I think the logo will at least contain the ace of spades.
Read that in Lemmy's voice.
I'm going over.

Well that's interesting. Did I miss Karmanos relinquishing his ownership?
-
I have quite a few that I don't feel deserve the praise they've been given.
The Blackhawks logo since forever needs an update badly.
Not too crazy about the Stars jerseys.
I don't get it guys, how is this better than Hugo Hornet?
This one's the worst offender, this logo is nothing special. Not creative or innovative in any way.

Thats why it's called the POINTLESS realignment outpost
It wasn't a random WTF realignment though. It looked like a serious MLB realignment.
If you wanna look at some pointless ones, look at the first few pages, or maybe add too many teams for the sake of it.
EDIT: I also made a 32 teams 8 division MLB realignment. You are free to criticize this one ECUFan25. In fact I would encourage you do so

I think the 'E' ball is in full motion. I definitely think that Quebec City is getting a team, for a few reasons.
1. Arena's just about done, in line with the expansion rumblings.
2. It's hard to say no when you look at Winnipeg's success.
3. And lastly, and most importantly to King Bettman, it serves as a distraction/choice of reason when also giving Las Vegas a team, which will ultimately be an epic failure.
Seattle is still in the background, but they seem to have too many arena issues. I could possibly see a 2 stage expansion- 1st stage (2017-18) Quebec and Las Vegas; 2nd stage Seattle and somewhere else (2019-2020).
BUT THEN THE DIVISIONS WONT BE EVEN OH NO WHAT A DISASTER. /s

I can get behind the Mexican cities/Havana/San Juan but I don't know, I only wanted 4 Europe teams, and good luck with NFL in Canada (y'know, since there's a CFL).

everything, from my time watching Islander games.Howie Rose is pissed off about
Such is being an Islanders fan.

I'd replace New Orleans and Vegas with San Antonio and Portland.

FIFA is anti-American, I hear that the 2026 World Cup will be in North Korea.
They aren't anti-American, but they're pro-bribery.

Ah, okay. That makes sense. Relocation would still would suck for the fans, even if they are few.
