40-59 are the best number choices for linebackers. Especially 40-49. 90-99 not so much. Leave that to the defensive line.
One good example is Vic Beasley Jr.
NFL rules state linebackers can choose numbers 40-59 & 90-99, but teams and players can get around this rule and go even lower with number choice. Recently, there have been a few "hybrid" defensive players. Typically Safeties switching to Linebackers.
Examples of these are:
Deone Bucannon (Cardinals LB/S #20 (he has also previously worn #36))
Su'a Cravens (Redskins S #36 but has been playing LB a lot in preseason)
Personally, I really hope extends the number choice for LBs to 30-59 & 90-99

The Carolina League getting the Rangers (MB Pelicans before the Cubs got them) back is wonderful. Mariners will be a nice touch.

I really like when players are able to wear #0. Especially on football jerseys. It just looks right.

If the Argos could fuse the blue and white helmets it would be perfect. Argos should have a blue helmet, but the striping is perfect on the white.
Dare I say a Jaguars-esque helmet?

Montreal Alouettes look way better with the white helmet compared to the silver helmet. Same goes for Toronto's white helmet vs the blue helmet.

Yes,
is a 'What if the USFL hadn't folded' thread, and is very interesting
What I meant was no merging or anything. Just being able to sustain itself and compete against the NFL.

Has anyone ever done a "What if USFL hadn't folded" thread?

-I love everything about the BC Lions new uniform set
-The sleeve number on baseball jerseys (a la Philadelphia Phillies) should be used more often
-
Not sure if this is really unpopular, but I love pullover baseball jerseys

Didn't know exactly where to put this, but the new CBS graphics unveiled for Superbowl 50 were LEAGUES ahead of their previous graphics.

I like it! Simple and effective

This may very well get me shunned, but unlike some of you knuckleheads I couldn't care any less about inconsistent striping. It all looks great to me.

On mobile, I don't exactly like how when you go to a topic you've been frequently active on, it goes right back to the first page as opposed to the recent page

Yeah I don't know where Eagles came from. Must've had them on my mind when typing this. Nonetheless, I don't like the Eagles logo on the shoulders anyway.
Right. They've never gone double logo
The Eagles have wings on their helmets...I dont think the eagle head is anywhere else on their uniforms.I don't like when logos are repeated on football uniforms. As in the same logo is on the helmet, jersey sleeves, and sometimes pants. Examples include Panthers, Eagles, Clemson, etc

Love the new look for the Tides. Glad they moved away from that awful orange alternate.
-
I noticed in Madden 15 EA Sports was using the Panthers old logo

I think you know what I mean... the "stripes" they currently wear
The Rams haven't worn the horn stripes on their primary jerseys since the 1999-2000 season.I think the Rams should ditch the "horn-stripes" on the jersey and go for a simpler jersey design

The hate for the Redskins gold pants is really really dumb

Norfolk Tides (Orioles Triple A affiliate) is set for a "New Wave"

My guess is a new set of uniforms and potentially new logos. My hope is they finally get rid of the orange alt.

In no particular order, the top 5 best looking college football teams are Cal, Colorado, Maryland, Minnesota and Utah.

I could care less about inconsistent striping
Also, as a diehard Redskins fan, I love the yellow/gold pants, BUT I'd like to see the white pants make a comeback

Don't know how unpopular this is, but I really like the San Diego Chargers number font

I actually wouldn't mind WRs number range be expanded to 10-29,80-89. That or just do 20-29,80-89. Leave 10-19 to QBs and K/P. Something about a WR jersey number in the 20s just looks awesome.
