In today’s Redskins-Bills game, it is the first time two running backs (Peterson & Gore) with 13,500+ all time rushing yards will play in the same game

Out of curiosity, was this the first World Series ever in which every game won was on the road?

The Seahawks helmet stripe is a completely unnecessary element of their uniform.

I think the Ravens are a small tweak away from having a virtually perfect identity - there should be a stripe on the black pants. They look way too close to yoga pants/leggings imo. Other than that, they’re pretty much good. The purple pants are brilliant, especially with the white and black jerseys, their integration of the MD flag is clever and not too in-your-face, the number font is unique and fits, I like the primary logo, just about everything is perfect.
And I’m so glad the gold pants stayed as a one-off idea. It was good to see them experiment with pants since it was just white and black for the longest time, but gold was definitely not the direction to go in.
If they brought back the gold pants and wore them with the CR jersey, I wouldn’t necessarily be too upset about it. I honestly thought the gold pants looked decent, but their identity is black and purple first with a tiny perfect bit of gold. No need to overload it.

The Patriots current helmet looks awful and cheap with a red facemask. With a white helmet? Wonderful. Silver helmet? Horrible.

The Dolphins orange CR uniform may not “exist” anymore, but the only salvageable part of it should’ve been the orange pants. With the slight modification of dropping the dark blue in the stripe as with what Miami did with the rest of the uniforms, it gives them a good alternate pants option:

Easily some of the best concepts I’ve seen on these boards

IMO, while the current Browns set has its problems, the Color Rush uniform is by far the worst of the bunch and in no way should it become the primary home uniform.

League wide redesign of NFL teams uniforms in the style of 2015 Cleveland Browns. I’d be willing to bet there’d be some fantastic ones to come out of that.

Actually, it happened for the first time back in 2014 when Astros P Rudy Owens faced off against Mariners OF James Jones:

A few friends of mine keep talking about the Batavia Muckdogs (Marlins short-a) and the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs (Independent) supposedly swapping locations. A quick google search had the rumored move to take place back in 2017, but no recent news. Is this still a thing?

I’m hoping for Nike to bring back a resurgence in pullover jerseys for MLB. It’d be nice to see most, if not all, teams to have at least one pullover and maybe have a guinea pig team with all pullover jerseys.

Attended a Harrisburg Senators game over the weekend and noticed in their team store they had a good amount of Expos merchandise. Almost conned myself into buying a shirt, but alas I resisted the urge.

I’ll never forgive Nike for the awful colored collars

Not sure how you can say that when he played 8+ years of great baseball in Baltimore, and 4 years in Atlanta with his first being pretty awful.
Don’t get me wrong, he was fantastic with Baltimore, did amazing things for the team and I’ll always remember him as an Oriole, but those years were just an overall :censored:ty situation. Terrible teams every year and the team’s front office essentially :censored: all over his legacy by letting him walk because they didn’t want to give him an extra year on a contract offer. I get it, business is business, but the Orioles have let too many valuable and important players walk in recent years and they’ve gone off to do seemingly great things with their new teams.

Had a similar feeling when Nick Markakis left town, too.
I honestly would argue that Nick’s right jersey IS Atlanta, not Baltimore.

I stumbled upon a website that replicates older minor league jerseys among others and it’s proof of how the teams simply adopted their parent teams look at the time:

Less of an interesting fact, more of a “you had one job!”
- It’s the 2019 NFL Season
-32 teams with 32 starting running backs
-They all have numbers, obviously
-Here’s how many times each number is used:
20- 1
21- 2
22- 4
24- 3
25- 4
26- 5
27- 1
28- 2
29- 1
30- 4
31- 1
32- 1
33- 2
41- 1
The most used number is 26 (5), while the least used is a tie between 6 (20, 27, 29, 31, 32, 41). Does that matter? No not really.
However, every number from 20-33 is used. Every number except 23. No current starting RB this year uses it. The only outlier in this numerical conundrum is 41, used by Alvin Kamara.
So I say to that, Mr. Kamara of the New Orleans Saints, YOU HAD ONE JOB!
(Yes I know it’s more just a coincidence than anything and not actually Kamara’s fault.)
