  1. I’d argue that Denver took inspiration from their 1966 uniforms for this set. Whether or not they want to admit that is on them and forever a secret.
  2. “but don’t the Chargers have bolts on their jerseys?? ” has to be the dumbest criticism of this set.
  3. Ah yes, the only time we’ll actually see those striped socks. Guaranteed to be nonexistent on gameday in favor of solid white “socks”.
  4. Theory time- Denver removes those triangles after one year like how the Titans adjusted the number size on the Columbia blue jerseys after the first year.
  5. Get the white over orange some blue socks and we got something cookin’
  6. I’d be willing to bet they’ll most likely correct the helmet stripe and get rid of the small triangles under the arms
  7. The set definitely has its odd quirks, but an upgrade nonetheless. Genuinely shocked at how well they turned out.
  8. Weird helmet stripe aside, I dig these. Way better than what was feared.
  9. They’re actually… better than I thought? Thats definitely an orange crush era tease at the end too
  10. Reveal is happening I believe in about 30 minutes
  11. It says in that article that it’ll likely be purple with a metallic gold facemask. I’d be almost willing to bet the “bringing back the gold pants” April Fools joke wasn’t really a joke after all.
  12. Denver’s pants are either without stripes or have the most ridiculous f***ed up striping we’ve ever seen. Or both.
  13. The player who said “this is… fire” didn’t exactly seemed thrilled to say it.
  14. Sarcasm? They either only showed the guys who said they liked them, pressured the guys into saying they liked them, or the guys felt like they needed to say they liked them.
  15. I actually really liked the helmet stripe, but never understood why they didn’t just do uniforms with modified NW stripes
  16. Putting millions into current stadium renovations doesn’t exactly scream “new stadium”
  17. The problem with the Commanders change is even with the waiver, they’re still looking at changing after 2026. We’d be lucky to get them by 2025.
  18. Ah you’re right. I forgot Burrow’s rookie season was the previous set.
  19. 2020 saw a record 8 redesign teams. They’ll have the opportunity to change after this season. There’s not a whole lot of information to suggest any of them will change their uniforms. So it’s speculative as of now. Team (% chance of change) • Falcons (85%) • Rams (35%) • Patriots (25%) • Bengals, Browns, Buccaneers, Chargers, Colts (0-10%) - Atlanta needs a complete overhaul -Rams are fine, but I could see them tweaking a couple things such as the number texture and gradient use. Also ditching the bone uniform. - If the Patriots learn to use the grey/silver pants more, then they wouldn’t need to change, but I could also see them upgrading the throwbacks into primary status. - The rest are great and don’t need drastic changes. The only change out of any of them I could see is Cincinnati not being idiots and consolidating the two pairs of white pants into one.
  20. So Birmingham got a safety off a bad punt snap and the refs had no clue why the Defenders & Stallions were lining up for a free kick.
  21. Yeah it took me a bit to realize that too. It’s a bit awkward and more noticeable on the gold pants.
