Of course they said "ICY," then had to double down by saying "arctic" for a game being played in *checks notes* Nashville, in a video where it's being presented in California, lol

Enough with the lame speak when unveiling uniforms. Just let the look speak for itself. If I see "icy" one more time I am going to lose it.

(and as doug mentioned, they're not aware enough to wear the throwback white pants so that there isn't a random sliver of grey)

To be fair, the Cowboys were practicing in California

It still baffles me that the Patriots' practice jerseys have the former (and to me superior) number font...

I'm baffled that they have been so bad at transitioning from the old uniform to the new.  In 2020 multiple players had the old color rush pants or jersey that the new set is based on. Their practice jerseys are still based on the old set. I have never seen any professional team this bad at getting rid of an old uniform set when they upgrade to a new one

I'm probably the only person who would be fine with the Cardinals owning the mid 2000s look for the foreseeable future lol. I don't even think the uniform is necessarily decent but something about it just doesn't bother me at all

Everything about their current uniform set bothers me. They could not decide if they wanted to go classic or "modern". They have an absolutely classic white helmet with grey facemask and the jerseys have very normal block numbers, but they coupled that with horrible piping and side panels. The white jerseys look like they're wearing a bib because of the red on the shoulders. The red pants aren't even consistent with the white pants.

With the Bengals now upgraded, Arizona has the most outdated uniforms in the league. I would dare say last year they were the worst, only being knocked off by the Commanders this season. Arizona has desperately needed a change since at least when Nike took over in 2012

Adidas would be amazing if they just stuck to throwbacks, these are really good. One very little thing I'm interested in seeing is if the rubber conference patch will come off like the Dodgers rubber helmet logo did

The Dodger logos that broke off and fell off were made of hard plastic (?) which is why they broke and fell off all the time. The current helmet logo is rubber and seems to have no issues

??? Normal gloss helmets have been doing the job for decades ??? I would rather every single team including the Vikings stuck to gloss ??? Do I need to post the wikipedia link for Strawman ???

The matte Vikings helmets perfectly match the jerseys. I'd rather they only bring back gloss for a throwback alternate

I did notice that the Field of Dreams jerseys aren't on the Majestic/standard template — this may have been covered at some point in the thread, but I wonder if Nike will finally move over to its own template next year? (Side note: these half button-up jerseys are interesting.)

What on god's green earth are the pinstripes around the collar on the reds jersey

This whole Nike classification deal is weird. Also note that it's "Blue" and "White," but not "Home" and "Road." As someone who has never gotten over "Icon," "Association," "Statement," and "Earned," this looks like bad things ahead for the NFL :(

The NFL has never had "home" and "road". Any team can wear white or color at home. Dallas' whole gimmick is wearing white at home. We even had color rush where both teams wore color. I don't see what "bad things" could be ahead for the NFL based off of this

It’s the same thing, they are both wanting to wear white while forcing the other team to wear colored jerseys. I don’t see your logic

Black jerseys make players hot because they are super dark, red jerseys are not as dark and should not be enough of a problem to not wear red the entire season

So, in essence, a team can wear their alt helmet with regular jersey under the "exception"

Supposedly they designated all black as color rush, which is an alternate. I heard that on here though so take that how you will

So blues are twice because of the blackout alternate, and one of them is in the preseason. And why is Tampa wearing white at home in week 17. At least we’ll see them in red at Carolina because the panthers are obsessed with WAH as well.

I at least understand Carolina not wanting to wear black in the sun. Tampa not wearing red is inexcusable

I’m probably going to get tomatoes thrown at me for this, but I think more teams should wear matching pants with their alternate color jerseys.

It would definitely be a case by case basis for this one. Not every team should do it with every uniform, but some teams with some uniforms definitely should

Agreed. Not sure why everyone wants a severely outdated logo. Sure, the jersey aesthetics are more interesting, and a meaner Dolphin with a helmet is cool, but they need a more modern logo to go with the look. And they need to make some aqua pants to go with the throwbacks.

The Dolphins would have a damn good look if they used the current logo with everything else from the throwbacks (obviously color match the logo to the throwback uniforms)

These alternate helmets have introduced a lot of ridiculous design elements to this league, but the fact that both of these uniforms are going to be worn in the same season makes no sense. Different helmets aside, this must be the most redundant alternate jersey I think I've seen.

The Ravens have two purple jerseys

The Cardinals have two black jerseys

The Raiders have two white jerseys

The Texans have two navy jerseys

The Browns have two brown jerseys

The Giants, Dolphins, and 49ers have home and road throwbacks

  14. Excluding the Saints, Jets, and Eagles, I think all of the alternate helmets look pretty good to amazing.

I just don't think some of the teams should be wearing some of the helmets (Cardinals, Bears)
