  1. 2226463.jpg?size=640x420- That's Brandon Browner, current Patriot and former Seahawk; before the two Super Bowl rings this year and last, he won a Grey Cup ring with the 2008 Calgary Stampeders; you might say that puts him in a pretty rarefied air; winning football championships on both sides of the border- only six other people can say they've done that. :D

This is only the wrong uniform in the sense that it's an older ugly 3rd jersey. I'm glad they dumped theses--but they still need an upgrade.

Oh well, the STamps won a Grey Cup without him this year--so I guess we didn't need him, but many fans still miss him, but are also happy for him.

  2. Oh, so the team he played 23 games before making a name for himself is a "correct" uniform? Please explain how his 23 games before he was a known goalie is not a wrong uniform?

Never said it was, but I figure a picture of him in a Leafs or an Avs uni would fit more--because he made a name for himself on the Ducks, then went to the Leafs and now the Avs.

Just that that fits the topic better.

Never said the picture posted was wrong in any way--just thought the Leafs made more sense.

But then again this thread is more in the eye of the beholder than anything else.

  3. I didn't check all 47 pages, so this may already be posted, but here's one I've never seen before today. In researching it, it looks like Trottier had dual citizenship and went from playing with Canada in the '81 Canada cup, to playing for the U.S. in the '84 Canada cup. I know Brett Hull often gets accused of being traitorous, but it seems like Trottier's "offense" is even worse.

I know people that still don't like Trottier because of that.

Some of them cheered against Pittsburgh when Trottier was a Penguin.

  4. Yeah, Hull was born in Canada, and spent a lot of time there, but he also lived in Chicago with his Dad, where all his other siblings were born. So, while he had dual citizenship, more than that, in '86 Team USA was the one who showed interest in him playing for them, not Canada. Hull decided to stick with that loyalty throughout his career.

I admire both of their decisions.

I have always identified Hull in a USA jersey. Now, Brett Hull in a Flames jersey is odd by comparison

I remember him in a Flames jersey--I was at the game where he got his first NHL hat trick--in a Flames jersey.
