With the new ESPN NBA scorebug....why do they put the logos for NBA but it's just a bland, team-colored box for college? They put the team logo for every other sport.

Would love to see CBS or FOX adopt this. The colors really pop with the white background.

FOX better upgrade theirs too. It's the absolute worst. Complete and total lack of imagination. It's lazy. Looks like what you would find on your local regional sports broadcast of a division III or high school game.

"Hey, Bob. You know those two lines your 4-year-old daughter drew with her crayons last week? Yeah.... let's send that to the graphics department and use it for ALL our sports ball telecasts in 2017."

Love it! NBC has the best one as it is now and this is even better.

The answer is obvious....so when my mom sits down to watch a quarter or so with me she can see the answer to the inevitable question (Is...so-and-so a good team?) Networks don't have the luxury of assuming 99% of the audience knows everything about the sport they're watching. It's getting as much information to the masses as possible. I think some people assume the sports world is active on this forum and networks and schools/teams cater to our desires, wants, and needs.

I rarely watch soccer, but when I do I like to have as much info on the screen for me as possible. My mom might watch 4 football games a year. This info is for her, not me, who spends 12 hours every Sunday (and Saturday) watching football wire to wire. 

Apparently Mike Tirico is going to call 4 games down the stretch. I would assume it's a couple Thursday and Saturday Night games on NBC.

Talkin sh!t to a young kid with autism who is happy for his dad.....what a guy! His logic of "it's scripted" is pretty insane too. So I guess I should never be surprised by a TV show or a movie because it too, is scripted. And why do we have the Oscars? It's just people following a script, afterall. no need to hand out trophies for it!

I'm sure his audience of 400 people who watch SportsNation think he's super cool though. Go read your teleprompter, tough guy.
