I bet a large chunk of Raiders season ticket holders still reside in California.

Maybe that creepy slimeball Sheldon Aldeson can help the A's build a new domed stadium in the desert. Oh wait, he's dead.

Vegas is rapidly becoming the sports hub of hubs. Already has the NFL, NHL & WNBA. Cramming in the Pac-12, NBA, MLB & possibly MLS in the next few years. With Super Bowls, All-Star Games & Wrestlemania to come.

MLB itself as stated that the Coliseum site is a non-starter. It's Howard Terminal or bust, regardless of who's writing the checks.

Personally I think Fisher will end up selling the A's to Warriors owner Joe Lacob and a bunch of his rich buddies. They'll build a new ballpark at the Coliseum site and try to revitalize the area around it. A soccer specific stadium for the Oakland Roots might be included in a revitalized complex.
-
Getting John Fisher to sell the club would be the best option. There are few groups with deep pockets in the Bay Area that would buy the team in a instant and build their own ballpark.
-
The Rays only exist because MLB didn't want to be sued for denying the Giants relocation to St. Pete. They basically said here's an expansion team, now shut the hell up.

San Jose would be the ultimate
option but that won't happen ever.

5 years from now we'll still be talking about the A's threatening to leave Oakland.

The A's need to give up on the waterfront pipe dream and build at the Coliseum Complex. If not, then get the F out.

Kind of a San Francisco Demons vibe with LA.

According to the Ft. Worth Star Telegram there are some at Tarleton State who think the WAC will eventually bring football back (Now that's funny).

8 outs from their first title in San Francisco, up (I think) by 8 at one point, and Dusty Baker has to put in Felix :censored:ing Rodriguez. The even year BS run this decade has eased a lot of that pain, but I’ll hate those two forever.
I'm with you bro.
Also the 1993 103-win Giants. Losing to the Dodgers on the last day of the season and finishing 1 game back of the Braves. Salomon :censored:ing Torres!!!! Thank you Dusty for that!!!! Damn you expansion Rockies!!! You couldn't beat the Braves one damn time!!!

Most of us think MLS will eventually grow to 40 clubs but I'm going with a 36 club alignment. 3 conferences with 12 clubs each. Top 16 make the playoffs by record. Seeded 1 through 16 in a single elimination tournament.

Duane Kuiper is class as it gets. I've met him personally and he's truly a good guy. Hopefully he gets through this.
