Of the 16 teams in the PCL that could move to St. Paul: Fresno maybe?

At the time (2000) AT&T park only cost 357 million.

There's tons of A's fans in the Sacramento area. I don't think the A's would have a problem filling a 38,000 seat stadium. The summer heat would be the only big issue.

I wish the XFL would've went with other cities that deserve football teams like that of the original XFL and AAF. New York, Washington, Seattle, Houston, Dallas and LA already are the obvious choices along with large population base. But eventhough cities like Orlando, Memphis, Birmingham, and San Antonio did have teams in the affore mentioned leagues, they do have the stadiums and population to deserve a second, third chance at the success football gives. And dont forget Oakland and San Diego, as the NFL is leaving these cities as well.
The XFL approached Oakland but was turn down.

Kind of hoping New York is the black & grey color scheme with Gargoyles or Gothics as a nickname. Would be unique.

The silver & black one looks like a G. New York Gargoyles would be a cool identity.

So I'm guessing two more teasers on Sunday and then Monday. Maybe Tuesday we get the whole reveal.

Nothing is ever guaranteed but I have no doubts that the Jays & Expos both being in the AL East would ignite a rivalry especially playing each other 19 times a season.

If the Rays do relocate to Montreal, MLB would most likely leave them in the AL East to rival Toronto.

I like Dragons & Fury. Bruce Lee connection.

Of the names in this group, Dragons is the only good one (says this fan of the New York Dragons).
But Surge has already been the name of a team with Seattle-appropriate colours and very nice uniforms (though with a helmet logo that seems like an afterthought). The Sacramento Surge of the WLAF evidently had three jerseys: one white, one green, and one blue.No just two. That third one you're talking about is just the green one wet. You can tell it's raining in that third card.

Considering two people on this page alone used the word "floundering" to describe the Florida franchises and their attendance, how about move the Rays to Montreal and split the Marlins between St. Pete and Miami and call them the Florida Flounders. Heck, have them play a few games in Orlando and they could get licensing rights from Disney for this bad boy to appear in their logo:

Portland Athletics or A's would be fine plus the green & gold scheme fits perfectly in the Pacific Northwest.

As we harken back to an ancient age (1970's), a little hamlet called Oakland dominated the sports world for a bit.
1972 A's win World Series
1973 A's win World Series
1974 A's win World Series
1975 Warriors win NBA Championship
1976 Raiders win Super Bowl

Wether it's Oakland, Portland or Saskatchewan, they'll always be the A's.

Las Vegas again? They already have NHL and NFL. Now they want MLS and MLB? Is Las Vegas sustainable enough to hold 5 pro sports teams if the NBA goes there?
They could be a candidate but if MLB gets Portland & Montreal through relocation I can see expansion being tabled if there aren't any viable candidates.
-
Let's say the Oakland ballpark doesn't happen and we get the Portland A's & Montreal Expos (Rays). Expansion to 32 (if it happens) could come down to these candidates:
Nashville
Charlotte
Raleigh
Las Vegas
