What if he makes the catch but the gorilla rips him in half and carries his upper body (which still has the ball) forward into the end zone? TD for the kicking team?

But remember, gorillas can only be deployed once a game (though I have to re-check the rules on this), so I’m not sure if kickoffs are the best place.

The best time to deploy a gorilla would be 4th and short. Can’t do a toosh push with a 500 pound ape who can bench press a Chevy truck in the way. I’m calling it the Kamikaze Kong formation.

Exactly. Tomlin has made the playoffs with teams that have 5-12 talent. That's not luck or getting all the calls. What's funny is he'll do it again next season and people will be right back here wondering how it happened...again. Sometimes the answer is right in front of you. Mike Tomlin is a great coach.

I know it’s a take that’s been done to death, but it’s no wonder the Steelers have been such a mainstay in the NFL when you have back-to-back-to-back Hall of Fame caliber coaches. 3 coaches in 55 years is never going to fail to amaze me.

  3. So the quarterback situation in Pittsburgh is a scheisseshow, they just got rid of one of their best receivers and I’m supposed to be surprised when they manage to go 10-7 next year?

Mike Tomlin can turn sewage into whiskey and a lot more people need to appreciate that.

the guy who wrote the article about the Chiefs kid will probably claim racism for his firing.  It seems like he would do that based on other articles he's done for the site.

Do not ever underestimate the power of a wealthy man's money.

Yyyyyep. I know deep down that if someone with enough gumption and resources to make something happen wants it to happen, it’ll happen. I don’t like it, I never have liked it and I never will like it, but that’s just the world we live in. Maybe the third time really is the charm?

  6. And I’m still going to defend playing that game. The players are paid millions, the fans willingly forked over their money to freeze their asses off and because they didn’t protect themselves, they’re paying the price.

Why should I feel bad for anyone here?

They should just let Caesar's have the team and make the stadium a replica of the Roman Coliseum

Call it the Las Vegas Legion and we’ll be golden.

“Degenerates like you belong….in our stadium!!!”

    Spoiler

House is the best faction, don’t @ me

  8. I’d say it’s a symbiotic relationship between ownership, administration, coaches and players. So, yes, organizations do win championships, but some aspects are more important than others. Like coaches and players.

    Ownership right now:

lol here you are, your majesty

It's goddamn embarrassing is what it is. And on the same day they ask for Mahomes's contract in taxpayer money for renovations to Arrowhead.

The only positive ranking? Andy Reid. Ranked #1 and probably kept them from being worse than the Commies (in 32nd on this survey).

Basically? The dynasty rests on the arteries of an old obese man.

Well, everyone can't be in the top third of payroll (or of anything, for that matter).

A similar clause wrt to the Dome in St. Louis is what allowed that Walmart bastard Kroenke to break the lease and bail from St. Louis.

Also, what’s stopping an owner from jacking up payroll with their hat in hand asking for our hard-earned money and then slashing it back down to nothing once the stadium is built or whenever that payroll requirement clause expires? It’s what happened with the Miami Marlins.

Damn, someone taking things a little personally.  An attack on the Chiefs isn’t an attack on you, dawg.

I know. It’s less my team and more that I hate the sort of trend where people get accused of a crime and even if they get found not guilty, they’re always thought of as a criminal. This time, it just intersected with my interests.

  12. Yeah. It’s innocent until proven guilty and at the very least, he wasn’t found guilty and at the very most, the woman lied about his involvement in some life-ruination scam. Personally, it sounds like this dude was a drunken dumbass more than anything else. Sorry my team believes in giving people second chances. Glad none of you have ever :censored:ed up.

Judging by local social media? They don’t like it. But, elections are determined by the ballot box, not Internet banana stickers. Let’s see what happens in April. It’ll probably pass because renovations for Arrowhead are packaged with it as technically, it’s not even new spending but an extension on a “temporary” sales tax increase that funded the last round of major renovations to Kauffman and Arrowhead.
