Ok... it seems I need to pull a wow factor in here because either a lot of people were not impressed with what I did for Xavier or who bloody knows but yeah... we're going to a team near Nashville and it's in the state of Kentucky...
Here is what this team looks like before my changes:Yes this team is the Murray State Racers where as you can see, they haven't got the best uniforms... they are lifeless and they don't utilise their unique Murray Gold at all except for lettering and numbering... so I figured this team is a prime example of a rebranding and it isn't just regular football that this team can benefit from... this can apply to Arena Football too.
THE NEW MURRAY STATE RACERSYou are called RACERS and you don't take advantage of your Horse Racing roots? My god... this is where the basis of this comes from, horse racing jockeys are flashy full of stars, stripes, chevrons and you can spot these a mile away... which is why its perfect for the brand because I don't see this gold anywhere and you need a unique look.
Plus I would use this for Murray State if I was making a FCS rebuild.... with three pants too!- 6

The layout for the Ohio Valley division is interesting because it contains:
6 Ohio Teams4 Kentucky Teams
4 Tenneessee Teams
1 West Virginia Team
1 Missouri TeamAnd I made sure that they all connected in some way... travel wise and all I'm rather proud.

Most of you are probably wanting to see if I was going to do another crazy thing with an Arena Football team....

Eastern Block is done for now... moving on to the first North division, Ohio Valley where it consists of Ohio, Western Virginia, Kentucky and parts of Tennessee and Missouri.... not all though because the rest of the latter states are in other division.
-
Oh yeah and I had this done too... completing the Virginia addition and establishing one of the powerhouses of the Atlantic...
JAMES MADISON DUKESAlso no alternate helmets in this arena football league, yes it's NFL BS but I was thinking of USFL at the time.

First team of the Atlantic Division! We have had Fighting Hens... but did you know?
WE GOT MOTHER:censored:ING...
CAMPBELL FIGHTING CAMELS!!!Arena Football if some of you have noticed does not have Alts in this league... it's either Home or Road but this has not stopped the Camels from adopting Black into both... and honestly a classic look does wonders considering there's going to be more out there teams like Hofstra.
Also I know who's going to be in the Atlantic Division too because the teams already have put themselves there because of two states... so 8 Virginia Teams and 7 more North Carolina teams which include Campbell.- 1

Confession time, I already had teams done for the FCS in the Vs. NCAA thread that were already perfect for say Arena Football... and to show you how wild the Capitol Division is and the Arena Football idea is in concept....
VILLANOVA WILDCATSWe're going to be moving onto the Atlantic Division next where it consists of two states... Virginia and North Carolina.

So when you create an Arena Football League with NCAA.... and without the FBS teams and Ivy League, you realise that you don't have enough teams to make the magic quota of 256... even if it's just non-D1 teams and D2/D3 teams you don't have enough... this however changed when the non D1 football teams in the FBS stuck two fingers up their respective leagues and put forward submissions which were then accepted... so congrats you will be seeing Arlington, Wichita State and Little Rock in this league... and the naggling feeling that independent teams of FBS might change their mind.... MIGHT I should add.
So the D1-AA section aka the FCS takes advantage of such a gap.... and without a large budget, this is where they shine.
The first FCS tonight is not any of the decade long powerhouses of North Dakota nor it's James Madison... no this year a new balance of power shifted to the South and to the Northeast...
DELAWARE FIGHTING HENSIn the Capitol division this is where the Fighting Hens roam and one of the strong teams in this division, with the spirit of Michigan in them.

Next division up is going to be Capitol.... this is where Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware and D.C distrcit (the pointless 51st state) exist.
-
Team 4 now and the 2nd of the Apple Division is a catholic school that focuses on one thing... playing football and they are about as traditional as you can get.

I believe you should just because there are some decently-sized Colleges like Gonzaga that should have a little love. Also, like Gonzaga and Wichita ST. Most of them used to have football teams but they fell out in the past.
Gozanga's being included anyway fyi

Do I include the non-football teams in the FBS? That's Arlington, Little Rock and Wichita State.

Now I know I started off well with Boston and Vermont... now I go into wild territory.
What happens if a uniform gets inspired by the New York Islanders?
What if it turns out to be THAT uniform.
Yes folks... the first team in the Apple sponsored New York/New Jersey division...
HOFSTRAThis is possibly version 1 but yeah this is what happens when you remember this team's Dutch origins and being close proximity to Nassau Colisseum that you remember the FISHERMAN set.

Oh they'll be done too, don't worry.

I've decided to do each division in pairs of 2 in rotation so the next division will be Apple... that's going to be New York/New Jersey and somebody mentioned Hofstra being close to Nassau... and that's home to Islanders....

Thank you, thank you for the good opening and I feel that it's up to me to keep things going.... I still have the NCAA thread to finish up but once that's over, I'll be back to this.
With that being said, we're still in the New England division and the next team is from Mass.... no not the U of Mass, they rejected the Arena Football league idea even though they should be all over this as well as UConn but oh well their loss.
Next up is a team from Mass...
- That doesn't have to worry about Wisconsin or Nebraska
- About as traditional as Northeast teams are... they ceased to exist in 1997
- They are from Boston

Get wilder with some other schools. But I feel like traditional looks are perfect for Vermont and other schools that had a long time varsity program.
Speaking of which. I hope my alma mater (UWM) is included.
If you mean Wisconsin-Milwaukee Panthers? Yes they are.- 1

I decided to change Vermont a bit....

That would be a massive stretch of what I normally do anyway... but you are right, this is Arena Football and I need to do some crazy ideas.
EDIT: Do I keep Vermont as it is?- 1

Why hello there everyone its me Bass. Today marks the first post in a what if scenario that came into my head when I was just thinking one day.... you see Arena Football may of bitten the dust in the US ((Don't really count China's league per say because China doesn't exist in Football in general)) but considering the whole Amateurism in the NCAA is now officially over and athletes can now be sponsored again, the NCAA realised that they are in legit trouble.
This has not stopped the penny pinchers from considering Arena Football as a means of retaining control and that is what they did... today is the start of what if the NCAA brought back Arena Football?
PREMISEThe rules of College Arena Football is essentially the same as Arena Football... a reduced squad, smaller venues and more importantly no FBS teams... all of them including the independent teams turned down this idea because they all thought it was a hot fad and another league rejecting Arena Football is the Ivy League... those stuck up pricks laughed at the idea...
Teams accepting this are Non D1 schools, D1-AA schools (FCS) and a mixture of D2 and D3 schools as not all of them can afford the reduced rates.
There will be 256 teams in 16 divisions of 16, 4 in each region... divided into East, North, South and West.... top 2 of each region advances to a elimination bracket where all roads then eventually will lead to Las Vegas.
The following divisions are as follows:
New England, Apple, Capitol, Atlantic, Great Lakes, Wolverine, Great Plains, Ohio Valley, Southeast, Coast, Gulf, Lone Star, Southwest, Rockies, California and Pacific.
The first team today takes us to the New England division where it consists of Maine, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont... all of the Northeast States and this first team is literally the latter:
VERMONT CATAMOUNTS- 5

There we go... I got them all.
- 1
-
And I'm stuck with picking regions because I only have 8 and that would mean 32 teams per division... and i kinda don't want that.
Only issue is these are all I can come up with.New England
Pacific
SouthEast
SouthWest
Great Lakes
Great Plains
Far West
Atlantic- 1

Is 216 too high of a number? Otherwise I might consider round 250-300
-
Yeah I would need to do some research.... look into how many teams would it be possible to create a sustainable model. I would not use any of the Power or Group teams because they would have too big capacities for Arena Football.
So Non-D1 teams ((Those that used to have College Football), 1-AA aka FCS and then D2/3 would be in that order.
