    MASCOT: MURRAY THE MUSKRAT

    spacer.png

    Spoiler

My head canon: He is distant Cousins with Goldy Gopher

The mascot of the Minnesota Muskrats baseball team is a dynamic and lively character known as 'Murray the Muskrat.' He is a unique creature with a playful and mischievous nature that perfectly represents the spirit of the team. Murray stands tall at about 5 feet, with a stout and muscular build. His soft, blue fur is accented by a green belly and a fluffy, ringed tail that he is often seen wagging in excitement. His oval-shaped head is adorned with a pair of large, round ears and green, beady eyes that seem to be always twinkling with cheer. Murray's signature feature is his long, pointed snout that is often seen sniffing around for tasty treats or playfully poking at unsuspecting teammates.

Murray's species, the muskrat, is a semi-aquatic rodent native to North America. They are known for their ability to swim and dive underwater, but also thrive in wetland habitats. This is fitting for both the location of the Minnesota Muskrats team and their team name. But beyond just being a cute and curious creature, Murray has a rich backstory that has helped him become an integral part of the team and beloved by fans.

Murray's story begins when he was just a young muskrat, living in the wetlands near the Minnesota Muskrats stadium. He was always fascinated by the game of baseball and would often sneak into the stadium to watch the players in action. One day, he was caught by the team's coach, who was impressed by Murray's love for the game and his determination. The coach decided to make Murray the official mascot of the team, and he quickly became a fan favorite.

Now, Murray is a constant presence at every Minnesota Muskrats game, running around the field and entertaining the crowd with his silly antics. He is also a key motivator for the team, always cheering them on and providing moral support during difficult games. His jersey number, 21, was chosen as a nod to the team's founding year in 1921. Murray wears this number with pride and it has become a symbol of his dedication and loyalty to the team.

Overall, Murray the Muskrat is not just a mascot, but a beloved member of the Minnesota Muskrats family. His playful and energetic personality brings joy and excitement to every game, and his story serves as an inspiration to all who know him. As the team continues to make history and win championships, Murray will always be there, standing on the sidelines, making fans smile and representing the Minnesota Muskrats with pride.

Btw the next team is the Minnesota Muskrats

And I’m trying to figure out which Minnesota Color Scheme to emulate

First Option: The Basketball Route (Twolves, Lynx, Iowa Wolves Colors)

    spacer.png

Second Option: Football Route (Vikings Colors)

    spacer.png

Third Option: Hockey Route( Wild Colors)

Her perseverance and determination paid off, as Bessie quickly became a fan favorite. Stadium: BK PARK

    spacer.png

    Spoiler

Burger King Park is a 35,400-seat, state-of-the-art retractable roof stadium, and home to the Miami Blacktips baseball team. The idea for the stadium was first conceived when team owners realized that in order to provide local fans with the best possible experience, a new, modern venue had to be built in order to accommodate a larger crowd. The design of the park is not only conducive to the viewing of a baseball game, but it also adds nuanced architecture, such as the iconic steel girder that rises to greet visitors atop the north entrance.

The design of the park is unique for its time, as it is the first of its kind in regard to retractable-roof stadiums. The complex design allows the dome-like structure to open up, letting the sunshine, fresh air and sounds of the game pour down on the excited fans. Additionally, the park is equipped with wide concourses and tons of concession stands to handle the fans’ diverse needs.

The park has been home to the Miami Blacktips baseball team since its inception in 2008. Minutes away from the stadium, one can find heritage, culture, and a passion for sports that make visitors feel right at home. The Silvertips have an impressive winning record, which is reflective of the park’s culture of unity and pride towards the team.

Finally, the park has several different quirks that make it stand out from other stadiums. For starters, the parking lot is themed with burgers, milkshakes, and french fries, harkening back to the park’s namesake, Burger King. There are also multiple areas of the stadium dedicated to fan entertainment including a heated swimming pool, mini-golf course, and lined terraces for grilling. The park is also pet-friendly, and provides several areas of spacious green space where visitors can relax and enjoy the game.

    Mascot: SAMMY THE SHARK

    spacer.png

    Spoiler

The Miami Blacktips are proud to introduce their fierce and captivating baseball team mascot, Sammy the Shark. Sammy is a 7-foot-tall, muscular great white shark with striking black, pink and teal coloring. His sharp, pointy teeth and piercing yellow eyes give him a intimidating look, but those who know him best know that he is simply a big teddy bear at heart. Sammy's backstory is an interesting one - he was actually discovered by the Miami Blacktips during one of their team bonding trips to the beach. He had been stranded on the shore after a bad storm and the team quickly came to his rescue. It was clear that Sammy had a special connection with the players and staff, and they knew he would make the perfect mascot for their team. As it turns out, Sammy is not your typical great white shark - he is actually a rare hybrid species, with the body of a great white and the fins of a hammerhead shark. This unique combination of features makes him stand out even more and adds to his magnetic appeal. As for his jersey number, Sammy proudly wears the number 13 - a number often associated with bad luck, but for Sammy, it's a way to show his resilience and determination despite the odds. The Blacktips have quickly become known as the 'shark team' thanks to Sammy's influence, and the fans love cheering on their favorite team mascot as he patrols the stadium with his signature jaw-dropping moves and entertaining antics. Sammy is more than just a mascot though, he is a beloved member of the Miami Blacktips family and brings a sense of pride and team spirit to every game. With his fierce appearance and lovable personality, Sammy is undoubtedly a key part of the Miami Blacktips success both on and off the field.

  6. So… Surge Wins I guess?

If anyone else wants to vote they’re welcome to.  I’ll keep the polling until the next team straight from the Spring Break Capital gets done

In the meantime, I decided to move the LA Dragons, as I feel like they don’t really need two teams, I see the pain that it’s caused in pretty much all of the Big 4 . The Chargers don’t need to be there,  The Clippers don’t need to be there, (but I like the rebrand!) , the Angels don’t need to be there( Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim? Really?) however Hockey gets a pass. But if there’s an LA Sharks in the future SO HELP ME .

So the Dragons pull a reverse Clippers and Chargers to become: THE SAN DIEGO DRAGONS

    spacer.png

Luckily, most of the design didn’t have to change other than the Caps (LA was on the caps) and the City Connect Uniform, ( Both City Jerseys were supposed to be like that muscled handshake meme to the city of LA, but now that doesn’t make sense)

    spacer.png

The City Connect Jersey I took inspiration from San Diego’s Gaslamp Quarter Sign

    spacer.png
I also realized that The Stars’ City Connect would look awkward on its own so I went the Hollywood Stars Route on their new one

Also btw guys who already voted, I put multiple logos there to try to narrow down which logo I chose along with the winning identity. So which logo of the Identity that you chose do you choose?

EDIT: Disregard that last part @udubfan19 unless you want to choose a Gems Logo

  7. Before I get to the next team (and a previous team that I decided to move a little south)

I have already went ahead and planned for the rest of the league, with pretty much all of them just need uniforms.  All except one team.

I’m still on the fence with Seattle’s Identity and Logo , and I hope y’all could help

    Our options are as follows:

    THE SEATTLE SURGE

    spacer.png

    spacer.png

I was all set to go ahead and have this be the identity, but after learning that there is a Call of Duty Esports League Team of the Same Name, I’m now unsure.

So here are the other options

    SEATTLE EMERALDS

Because Emerald City, but I have seen this identity used in several concepts before when it comes to Seattle

    spacer.png

SEATTLE GEMS (Basically the Emeralds Identity minus the gold. But the Emeralds logo above could suffice for the Gems. The second logo below could also suffice for the Emeralds identity)

    spacer.png

    spacer.png

    SEATTLE JOES

This team was named after the coffee culture of Seattle. Would also work well as the Stadium no matter the team is Starbucks Stadium

    spacer.png
    spacer.png

    spacer.png

    SEATTLE JAVA

Another Identity on the coffee side of things. These could also be a secondary logo for the Joes Identity.

    spacer.png

    spacer.png

So what do you guys think, keep the Surge? Go for the coffee identity? Or the jewelry identity?

  8. Since I’m Already Heading South of the Border for this next team, I decided to give the  Cerveza Crew an Alt in the Mother Tongue , as well as their own number font that I didn’t take from the Padres

    spacer.png
I also fixed their logo and added a Spanish Version

    spacer.png

    Now onto our programa normal
    VIVA LA

MEXICO CITY AZTECS/AZTECAS DE LA CIUDAD DE MEXICO

    spacer.png

    ESTADIO: ESTADIO AEROMEXICO

    spacer.png

    Spoiler

Estadio Aeromexico is the home ballpark of the Mexico City Aztecs Baseball Team. It was opened in the summer of 2007, much to the delight of baseball fans everywhere, and is a 44,400-seat open-air ballpark that is located in the middle of the bustling city of Mexico City. Before this stadium was built, the Mexico City Aztecs played their home games at a small municipal stadium, but this was a far cry from the amenities and new features that Estadio Aeromexico has to offer.

The stadium has a rich backstory, as it was built on the sights of a former carnival and amusement park that had been around for several decades but had become dilapidated and forlorn. The site was chosen for its sheer size and height, which gave it the perfect vantage point to look out over the surrounding areas. The stadium was built with the environment in mind, as it has a modern eco-friendly design. This means that the stadium uses up to 25% less energy than a traditional stadium of the same size, plus has a range of water and energy-saving features to reduce its environmental impact.

Despite its size, the stadium is full of quirk and character. From the murals that depict the history of the city to the canopies of string lights that hang from the rafters, the stadium really does capture the vibrancy and culture of the city. As well as this, the stadium is incredibly well thought out when it comes to amenities and features. In the gallery, you will find concession stands, food courts, VIP lounges, souvenir shops, and a terrace that overlooks the field.

Overall, Estadio Aeromexico is a testament to the passion and grandeur of baseball. Not only is it a testament to the past, but it also looks to the future with its design and eco-friendly characteristics. It is a place that is sure to be the home of good memories both on and off the field.

    MASCOTA:  CALAVERA

    spacer.png

    Spoiler

His name is 'Calavera', meaning skull in Spanish, and he is a representation of the iconic Aztec warriors who once lived in the city. Calavera stands tall and strong at 6 feet tall, with a well-built body covered in bright green feathers. However, being a resilient and determined warrior, he found a new purpose as the mascot of the Mexico City Aztecs Baseball Team. He uses his skills and quick movements to entertain and motivate the team and the fans.

As a mascot, Calavera is not just a representation of the Aztec culture, but also a symbol of the team's spirit and determination. He is a mix between a human and a jaguar, a powerful combination that reflects the team's agility and fierceness on the baseball field. Calavera's constant energy and vibrant personality radiate throughout the stadium, making him a beloved figure among the team's fans.

Calavera's jersey number is 12, as he represents the 12th player, the fans who support and cheer for the team. He always wears a customized Aztec-themed baseball uniform, complete with his number and the Mexico City Aztecs logo. He is also often seen carrying a baseball bat adorned with traditional Aztec engravings, adding to his fierce and warrior-like appearance.

Overall, Calavera is much more than just a mascot, he is a representation of the rich history and fierce spirit of the Mexico City Aztecs Baseball Team. He brings joy, excitement, and a touch of the ancient Aztec culture to every game, making him an integral part of the team's success both on and off the field.
