  1. Ah yes my first concepts on here. I knew it would come eventually…

    Edit: WE GOT A NAME

WELCOME TO THE INTERNATIONAL BASEBALL LEAGUE

    spacer.png

So here’s how these concepts are gonna go.

    There will be AI involved

I remember the Last Time that AI was used in these boards and started a feisty debate.

So it’s gonna be a Mix.

Location, Name :  That’s Part Me, and OOTP. But I had to change a lot of it around to make it make sense.

Uniforms: That’s all me chief. In fact I cooked up these jerseys before I thought AI should even be involved. Created through OOTP Uniform Maker. The pictures will be taken through my phone.

Colors:  Part me, Part OOTP. If OOTP’s Color scheme for a team doesn’t make sense for the city, I change it, as you’ll see momentarily with the first team

Stadium: A mix of everything. The name comes from me, AI gives the Lore and the Look, OOTP has the seating capacity and

Mascot: That’s all AI. Lore and Look. Also how many concepts on here include the Stadium and Mascot?

Logos:   Part Me, Part AI. If some AI Logos are good from the Jump, they stay, If there’s some messy text but Good Logo, or Vice versa, I cut out the bad parts. If it’s a bad logo, regenerate.

    Anyways let’s get into it!

     TEAM 1: ATLANTA AVIATORS

    Ah good letter sync!
    LOGO

    spacer.png

    Spoiler

    spacer.png

This is a sort of a Mashup logo of a Decent looking plane with no text and a really good Atlanta text but it had a trash plane .

The Colors and name are inspired by the Local Delta Airlines and this was one of the color schemes that I had to switch around as OOTP had an odd Teal Black Mixture with their Aviators logo…

    Spoiler

THE LORE(Created by Me this time)
Delta Airlines Sponsors this Team, and sponsors the stadium, hence the entire identity and the stadium. They offer discounts on flights if you have a flight from an opposing team’s area heading to Atlanta during a time that Atlanta plays against said opposing team at home, and Vice versa.

    STADIUM : DELTA STADIUM

Lore(AI Generated): Delta Stadium is the open-air home of the Atlanta Aviators baseball team and provides a breathtaking view of the surrounding downtown Atlanta skyline. The stadium was opened in 2009, thanks to help from then-governor of Georgia, Mark Spalding (Human Note; Fake Person)who secured state funding for its construction. The landmark 34,800-seat ballpark has seen record-breaking crowds and standing-room only games over the years, making it one of the most popular ballparks to visit. As a testament to the city’s storied history, Delta Stadium pays homage to Atlanta’s past with its classic red brick and steel exterior, stately columns, and retro signage over the entrance gates. Inside, spectators will find a majestic nation-beating expanse of seats, all in the classic “Atlanta red ” hue. Amenities within the stadium, such as its 6-story high definition video scoreboard, 3 full restaurants, and luxurious private suites, plus an old-fashioned “bleacher bums” section, make Delta Stadium an unforgettable experience for avid and casual baseball fans alike. For the most ardent Aviators fans, Delta Stadium also offers The Delta Club, an exclusive members-only VIP area. From the Club, fans can enjoy panoramic views of the playing field in the comfort of plush furniture, while snacking on gourmet food and drink from the complimentary buffet. The Delta also prides itself on its quirky features that add to the overall atmosphere of the stadium, which includes the popular “Lucky Voice” DJs, who play lively jazz and blues during games, and their mascot Herby, who can be found shooting T-shirts into the crowds during games. Without a doubt, Delta Stadium has become an integral part of the Atlanta sports landscape. From its dedicated fan base to its iconic features and quirks, Delta Stadium serves as a powerful symbol of the city’s storied sports history and a reminder of the everlasting power of the great American pastime.

MASCOT: HERBY (ignore the Braves Cap)

    spacer.png

    Spoiler

    spacer.png

Note: The Logos and Uniforms just ain’t gonna match up. But the uniform Herb’s wearing is the closest to one of my uniforms, so it stays

    Spoiler

My addition to the Lore: He’s Freddie Falcon and Harry the Hawk’s Cousin

AI Generated Lore: Herby is the official Atlanta Aviators mascot and he's always ready to turn up the energy at the ballpark. With his red and blue baseball cap, custom red and blue jersey (with the number 88), and big red beak, Herby is a sight to behold. He's especially popular with the kiddos, who love to hear his story of how he journeyed from the wilds of Mississippi to the top of the Aviators' dugout. His backstory goes something like this: Herby was a wild Mississippi Hibiscus Woodpecker (Human Note; Fake Species) who, in his travels, stumbled upon Delta Stadium one night. He had never seen anything quite like it - never had he seen so many bright lights and so much excitement - and he just had to check it out. He was so fascinated that he decided to stay and become the official mascot for the Atlanta Aviators. Now, Herby's only mission in life is to bring joy and cheer to the fans at Delta Stadium every game day.

    Jerseys:

Note about the Jerseys real quick, the OOTP Uniform Maker Number Fonts don’t work so well, so I have to use some historical fonts from another mod I downloaded.

Finally the last team of the wave 2 expansions and the one that caused the biggest trouble of all.... because it feels incomplete.

    INDIANAPOLIS BOMBERS

    AIL4fc-gSTeTjY_rZLasEFFGIuqIMdsHesmKNrVT

Jim Irsay came into the NFL expecting to buy the Baltimore Colts for dirt cheap because the team had struggled to make a winning season for years and was hoping to move the team to Indianapolis which would of caused a lot of issues... the NFL responded by giving him an expansion team and decided to create the Indy Bombers.

SEVERAL problems came into play... the only division open to them was a very tough NFC North that was traditionally bound by integrity and seeing a new team muscle their way in caused other teams to accuse the 4 teams of gatekeeping.... they were only JUST accepted in despite playing for 20 years.

Irsay just wanted the Colts, not an expansion team so he basically NOPED out of owning the Bombers and giving it to several people whilst he was focused on other projects like the Pacers

The team has been stuck in a 2000s limbo for 20 years because of a lawsuit.

Wait didn’t you say that a nuclear bomb wiped out a city? Wouldn’t Bombers be in poor taste?

Third and final USFL Update for 2010:  The Ohio Glory

The Eagle gets an update.  New logo, but botht the logo and the uniform will be very reminiscent of the Glory's short but pretty glorious past.  Here is the new version of the Glory Eagle-head logo, along with their new wordmark, using imagery reminiscent of U.S. fighter planes of the past, and also of the buckeye.

Ooh is that a secret G in the eagle’s mouth?

The last team of Wave 1 and I've saved the team that essentially carried the old World Football League but here they were reduced to being ball carriers to the AFL's Miami Dolphins who were the dominant team at the time and essentially are 6 time Super Bowl champs because of the 5 year streak.

This however did not deter them from trying to usurp and acquired 3 of their best players in a massive signing boost to try and clinch their own AFL championship.... and yet fell in the final hurdle against the Oakland Raiders.... TWICE. This team was owned by John Basset as he sold his controlling share to another owner before trying again with the Bandits and yeah that went smoothly...

Well until this team tried to register their name to which it was denied so they had to change their name.... twice. Finally at the big unveiling of the new uniforms, everything went smoothly UNTIL the reveal of said uniforms where one simple mistake gave the team the most infamous sports botch in history for the....

    MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES

    AIL4fc8Qf_BuMRAZIAfuMSZS6p5MdQffHufSzGBB

The dinguses in charge of the uniforms made a mistripe that literally gave them the reputation monkier of the Memphis Mistripes... originally their uniforms were straight up expys of the Browns and the Browns weren't happy at all forcing the uniforms to change and then the mistripe happened and they were like Oh.

They play in the NFC South against the Chiefs, the Vulcans and the Bucs.

So what’s gonna happen to the NBA Grizzlies? Is it gonna be a NY Giants Situation or do they just stay in Vancouver? Or new name entirely?

Suns came out with their new jerseys so i thought i'd tag along with a new court design. A lot of it is based on the original 90s court that was paired with the original sunbursts. Including all the exact use of colors and the orange circles. I altered the center court logo a bit with a little orange on the end of the sun logo just like how the original 90s court did. except i also made it to where it referenced the pixel design that the suns use on their statement unis. and on the outside of the court you can of course see the giant sunburst taken directly from the new jerseys and also present-day wordmarks with the drop shadow like on the new jerseys

    E1721-C7-A-8442-499-F-ACF4-A246-CA4321-A

This is a great way for teams to utilize that empty space when they have no sponsors on that part of the court

Well i'm out of the hospital... and good thing too because I was able to quickly whip this up for the next team in the series... and they are a real buzz.

    CHARLOTTE HORNETS

    AIL4fc_LANNAiPz2ecruDQH3h2DWXaeDxP_Ch6rn

The Hornets remained as traditional as they could of been for roughly 25 years with the same yellow, black and white that they were able to get out... however eventually the Hornets moved onto their honey gold and was able to keep the logo the same.

They are mostly known for inventing the unitard look.

What happens to the NBA Hornets in this Universe? Is it gonna be a NY Giants Situation all over again?

Houston has had several redesigns over the years with the most recent being in 2017

When you’re done with every team, I’d appreciate a logo history from the teams, to the All Star Games, Retired Jerseys, Championships etc.

This was a little challenging for me to do. I thought of putting the beam on the center line or making a big V beam literally coming out fro the crown part of the Kings logo, but I decided to do this instead:

    Is this what you like?

Looks very cool but mildly Impractical for NBA Use

    Saskatoon Blues

1983 saw the Blues very close to moving to Saskatoon; They even had a mockup of what their uniform would look like; which I also replicated. However, Blues doesn't scream Saskatoon so I also came up with a new moniker for the team. Inspired by a team a little south the Blues rebrand to the Saskatoon Moose.

    SKTBF

    STLBSMF

Moose is spelled backwards in the Moose jersey

BTW, I am considering that once I finish this USFL alt history, I might return to 1983 and start all over again, but with more detail, a slightly slower pace, and more photos.  I thought about an NFL Europe alt history, but the USFL is really where my heart lies, and now, as I look back at the first 20+ seasons, I see lots of places where I wish I had done things differently, so a version 2.0 might be a chance for me to reinvent once again.)

SHUT UP AND TAKE MY…. Wait I ain’t paying for this… MY MINUTES.

Also I was thinking perhaps you could reach out to the Madden Modding Community collab with them for some uniforms and stadiums, and make YouTube Videos from the History of the USFL.
