That's the key to me- I want teams to look like teams in that country's top league (or for the Netherlands, some hybrid of Aruba/Curacao and the Honkbal league) . In a weird way the Team GB uniform feels right because I can't imagine a British baseball team having something that doesn't look like a catalog order. I feel like they're getting a bit closer to that overall than maybe they had in the past.

Royals roads are just gonna alternate between arched and script every few years. I can come to terms with that. The new roads and alt are firmly in the ok category. I wouldn't have hated a little contrast around the letters and numbers- maybe a powder blue outline?

That's a great description- they put out something new that really feels like the answer to "what if the old style just evolved gradually"
