  1. lmao I'm not even a Houston fan. I just think that screwing over a city and moving a team out of ego and spite means that you should be forced to surrender that identity. The part that really cemented to me that this is all out of spite is the fact that they're wearing these throwbacks against the Texans later this year. Call me salty and bitter and whatever, I don't care. I know my opinion on a message board about sports uniforms won't change anything. I just like voicing my opinions here. And my opinion on these throwbacks is not a positive one. I doubt many Titans fans have much of a connection to the Oilers identity. When they were the Tennessee Oilers, they inexplicably spent a season in Memphis, which alienated both Memphis and Nashville and led to a sense of apathy that wasn't really solved until their first season as the Titans, which saw a new stadium, the Music City Miracle, and a trip to the Super Bowl. The Tennessee Oilers aren't really an era to be celebrated.
  2. The Titans do not deserve to wear these uniforms, I will die on this hill.
  3. There's your answer. All of New England would riot if they changed uniforms in the middle of the dynasty and the Patriots proceeded to suffer a big playoff loss.
  4. I don't really care what the owners think. Just wear the best looking uniforms at all times. What uniforms are the "best" can change from person to person, but marketing and owner/front office preference are my least favorite justifications for uniform decisions.
  5. I love how so many teams based in the Pacific Northwest have a blue/green color scheme: Seahawks Mariners Canucks Kraken (more of a seafoam green color)
  6. My favorite is the Jets -- only subtle differences with the primary look but somehow every single one is an improvement
  7. I don't know. I feel like this uniform was such a bad idea that you really can't salvage it. At the very least, the cure for a bad BFBS uniform is not more black. And I was more poking fun at the "Indiana Nights" uniform debuting in the sunlight.
  8. I disagree with every single word you just said. Adding black to a color scheme that previously didn't have black or made minimal use of it usually ends poorly. I'd say it ended poorly for both of these teams.
  9. At the very least, the Colts could have closed the roof so that there wouldn't be sunlight hitting the "Indiana Nights" uniform
  10. Painted end zones are cool, but if you're going to switch between painted and unpainted, I like what the 49ers do where they only paint it for the playoffs: The red end zones bring an extra level of prestige. Regular Season: Playoffs:
  11. The texture is kind of cool. But it's been applied to such a train wreck that I can't really critique it.
  12. It's just frustrating because last year they actually committed to wearing burgundy pants with their white jerseys. They refuse to even do that this year and it's made a bad uniform even worse.
  13. Apparently, for the second consecutive week, Washington has decided to match a beautiful throwback theme with... all white.
  14. Navy tops should be the home uniform if they insist on this set. The orange uniform is one of the most drab, uninspiring, dull uses of the color orange I have ever seen.
  15. Still not happy about the captain patches and the RJ patch being next to each other
  16. I just want to know what genius decided to make navy leggings the only pants/sock look for both the home and road jerseys after Brady left. Actually one of the dumbest uniform decisions ever.
  17. Absolute beauty of a matchup in Buffalo right now.
  18. The two change I would make to the current Bucs uniforms are to lighten the shade of pewter (it's way too dark and the pewter pants sometimes blend into the black socks from a distance) and use the original pirate flag logo. Otherwise they seem to suit the franchise well. Just please wear the creamisicles at least once a year. Don't let that completely die out.
  19. I mean, if that's your opinion I respect it, but I completely disagree.
  20. Happy about this combo, but the replies to this tweet are embarrassing. All the Ravens fans apparently want all black or all purple. Hopefully the Ravens don't listen to all that noise and continue to dress like a proper team.
  21. Complete with the giant players? That's gonna look kinda silly.
  22. This is a close second to me. (This is quite a generous view as well, since it blocks a lot of the gold rear half of the helmet)
