I'm going to assume it's not going to be happening because the draft and the summer have came and went and we're almost at the new season without anything. I guess they could also surprise everyone but I don't know if it makes good business and logistical sense to drop a full rebrand so late in the offseason. Of all the recent rebrands I've found, they were all announced in the preceding June to the season.

IIRC, it also came from that kid is on Twitter X who I don't know how he became a source in the first place. I also don't know what his hit rate is, but he has gotten stuff wrong in the past.

    Correct, aint happening.

It bothers me Vegas wears a truer gold and not Vegas gold… while a lot of teams who should use old gold use the tannest shade of gold imaginable (Saints, Washington Huskies come to mind)

"vegas gold" was a poorly chosen name given to that shade somewhere along the way in the past 30 years.  Even in a shiny material like Dazzle, nothing about it would make me think of Las Vegas. A team in Vegas should be wearing true gold.   I agree the Saints and UW should be in a more classic old gold like they used to wear.

  3. FWIW, every possible combination was created and reviewed for the Vegas gold jersey, if you can think of it and concept it, we did too. In the end, it came down to the ownership wanting them to be "brighter" not dark like the grey ones, thus the white.

What is going on with the photoshoot Marchand was doing earlier? No ad and the regular logo is still on the front.

A couple of things, first off they never said they were just swapping out logos on the current H&A, so this checks out. It's a Warrior photoshoot, so they're not going to have a sponsor patch and give someone else free publicity. This is all completely normal.

As noted, the Flames broke out the Blasty thirds last night against Florida. Also worth noting that they have black pants shells with striping that matches the pedestal Reverse Retros. Smart move to have one shell that works with both alternates.

They wore that pant with RR1 since that's the pant when Blasty debuted in 1998

    Nope what???

The Wild definitely had that problem until Adidas took over. The Red home, green alt, and both white roads all felt very distinct. But now I think that the Wild have a really good set that work well with each other. The striping is the same on the arms and socks, and finally uses the primary logo front and center on both.

No they won't be adding a sleeve number

I feel like the Canucks are going to have to add left sleeve numbers. Broadcasters might have a hard time with that, even if they have the numbers on the left chest. I actually do like that look, because it adds to the 60’s-ness to the design, but I would imagine they’ll have to add left numbers anyways.

    Nope.

I was specifically thinking about how pretty much every on-field NFL jersey pre-Nike lockdown was made by Ripon Athletic, and the Champion/Wilson/Puma/Reebok/Russell/Starter/LogoAthletic logos sewn on the sleeves were basically the extent of those companies' involvement in the manufacture.

Interesting that Adidas' jerseys are being made by S&P. I think they made jerseys for Nike/Bauer back in the 1990s.

That is true about football and who "made" the jerseys... IMO, contracting the best factory to produce the uniforms doesn't make it any less genuine to call Adidas, Nike or whoever "the manufacturer."  The Adidas and Nikes are still doing all the work on the back end, creating the tech packs, sourcing fabrics and materials etc... They don't just hand the the uniform sketches over and walk away.

SP is the best source, they've been doing it for decades and have all the capabilities.  Adidas is made at the SP factory in St. HY (the old CCM factory) This is where CCM and Reebok came out of also.  Nike and I believe CCM is done at the SP Granby location.

    They don't, in fact.

Nike baseball jerseys are made by a Fanatics owned plant. It's the old majestic plant.

Adidas NHL jerseys are made by SP, the same plant that made the jerseys for reebok as well.

I dont know on field, but all retail nike NFL jerseys are also made by fanatics and not nike.

Yes, I'm very aware of all that, maybe more so than you know.

Also, Reebok did own CCM and the factory in St. Hy during their tenure.

My point for clarification was to ask the OP that if by not owning the factories, that means calling it the "manufacturer logo" is somehow wrong?   I don't see how it's any different than Polo or Gap doesn't own their factories.

What happens here when I tell you that, for decades, many of the "manufacturers" whose logos appeared on the sleeves or hems or wherever didn't actually manufacture those jerseys?

Meaning?    They don't own the factory the jerseys were manufactured in?
