Did we miss something?

I went on espn.com on the MLB all-star page and found this interesting photo of Jason Schmidt in a New York Giants throwback. According to the url address they wore it on 8-20-03. However looking through the archives there was no metion of it. Did we miss something?

It was a Turn Back the Clock Day, I forget who it was against. But that day was remembered because Schmidt's jersey was too big for him and eventually switched to the regular Giants jersey for the 2nd inning.

The Giants wore NY throwback vs. the Dodgers. I was at the game.

This was supposed to be done on Sept. 15, 2001, but was delyaed until the follwing season for obvious reasons.

The scoreboards at Pac Bell showed Brooklyn vs. New York as it was a tribute to the 1951 pennant winners.

The 1951 team was there, save for Willie Mays who was at the Hall of Fame ceremonies.

The funny thing is that Schmidt started the game wearing his throwback uni, but changed to his regular jersey after an inning or so becasue he didn't like the fit of it.
