STL FANATIC Posted April 23, 2003 Share Posted April 23, 2003 Now, I am not sure how this fits with Louis, but I know the Cleveland Browns were named after their first coach or owner Paul(?) Brown, but he didn't want that to be the case so he said they were named after the boxer. But I don't know if it was Joe Louis, he might have had some nickname with the word Brown though...
