Hey everyone! I'll start by saying that these concepts/ideas have just been sitting on my computer for as long as I can remember. I've redone some of these and evolved them to the point where I think I'd like to share some of them and get some input. Some logos are original, some are edited png clip art turned into logos, some don't even really have logos, just uniforms. I've developed stories for some of these teams as they intertwine with my fictional baseball league (that I haven't touched in a while, regrettably). I don't know how much I'll post. I just want to share and hear what people have to think.

I call it the North American Football League. A hybrid game that combines Canadian rules and American rules. Multiple leagues combined during either the mid-50s or early 60s to create this league which include an East Coast League, a Midwestern League, a Pacific Coast League, and obtaining a few clubs from multiple regional leagues. I don't really have a timeline created for when all these things happened, just kind of a ever-evolving league incorporating ideas of what I think is cool. Teams play in soccer-specific like stadiums that can hold either 40,000 or 20,000. The league does not have a Nike or Adidas sponsor, but some fictional brand that I haven't come up with a name yet. But it's not that important. I'd like to imagine that the season starts in August and ends sometime in December or so. Haven't really put much thought into the semantics. Some have a ton of history, while others are merely an idea with a rough uniform idea. I have about 32 teams in mind but would like to maybe kick it up to 36 or 38. I'll probably never end up reaching that number, but the ideas are there.

The first team I'll show are the Minnesota Oxen. The Oxen began as the Bemidji Bulls back sometime during the 1910's. They had a great success, defeating other larger football clubs in the league including teams from the much larger Twin Cities, Chicago, Detroit, Winnipeg, ect. while also capturing multiple league titles. They are basically the Packers of the NAFL. At some point during the 50s, with murmurs of the NAFL being created, the Bulls moved down to St. Paul and became the Minnesota Oxen. They never forgot their roots however and every Thanksgiving, they don the old Bulls uniforms and travel up to Bemidji to play at Chet Anderson Stadium. As someone who has done multiple broadcasts at Chet Anderson (WSU Warrior football on KQAL, represent!), my reimagined Chet Anderson has a better press box and can seat about 10,000. While their stadium in St. Paul is basically a larger Allianz Field at around 32,000. Their biggest rivals are Winnipeg, Milwaukee, Chicago, and Detroit.

The logo is the Babe the Ox statue in Bemidji with a oval and an M plastered on top. I have thought about redoing it so give me some ideas. The "Bull Blue" comes from the old Bemidji colors and works as more of a tertiary. The more lighter "10,000 Lakes Blue" makes up the ox. The "Beach Sand" color is more-so a secondary color. This'll start it off. I hope you enjoy.

Must have killed with the first one.

Moving along.

Hailing from Colorado, I have the Denver Dinos. The Dinos were founded sometime during the 60s and have a history (and color scheme) identical to the Denver Broncos. Their rivals include Albuquerque, California, and St. Louis. I know the state fossil is the Stegosaurus, but I wanted to create a logo that flows more like the Broncos logo. More forward facing, powerful, yatta yatta yatta. A Stegosaurus defining feature is its spiky tail, the Thagomizer. Problem is about that is that it is at the end of the tail, the opposite end of the body. So I went with the Triceratops. They find its fossils in the state and I think exudes a more "Bronco" feel to it. Essentially, it flows. Let me know what you think.

Good so far! My only complaint is that the blues on the Oxen home and away dont match

Really? I guess I've never noticed. I'll be sure to get around and change it.

Anyway, the next team.

Hailing from the US capital, I have the Washington Guardians. The Guardians where formed after the Second World War and participated in an east coast football league. The nickname is a recent addition as up until the  mid-90s, they were just called the Washington Football Club. Papers would call them the Founders, Reds, and Guardians interchangeably for much of their existence.. Their main rivals include a squad from Baltimore who also feature a coat of arms inspired look and a team from Philadelphia. The Guardians sport a look that is centered around President Washington's Coat of Arms and heavily inspired by the DC Defenders look of the new XFL. Call me lazy, but a simple red and white look in football is good. I'm also a Badger fan so I maybe a little swayed in saying that. The third jersey is meant to be a Baltimore Colts inspired retro uniform for the Guardians.

That's what I got. Let me know what you think!

This is boss. A league map would be cool to see.

Thanks boss. I may create one when I have more logos created. A lot of this is uniforms and a rough written idea. It's fun to concoct ideas and create uniforms and vague backstories. Someday I might try to straighten everything out.

But now we move forward.

From Long Island, I have the Brooklyn Red Devils.  The Red Devils began as a breakaway club of another Brooklyn based football club in the 30s, playing their games at the baseball field of the Brooklyn Kings, Kings Field (Kings Field is Ebbets Field in my fictional sports universe). The Red Devils became the 2nd best club in New York after their rivals the Dukes of New York. The Red Devils get their name from the Brooklyn based 14th Volunteer Regiment of the New York State Militia, most notable for their fierce fighting and their distinctive red pants which gave them the nickname of the red-legged devils.

Since they take their name after the red pants of the Civil War regiment, they have red pants. They tend to wear their white jerseys as much as possible, leaving the blue uniforms as uninspired and pretty basic. I based the whites off of Man United's 2nd kit this season as I just thought it looked nice. The Dukes will take after Man City so stay tuned for them. If anyone has any ideas on how to improve them, I'm all ears. Thanks.
