Ez Street Posted September 16, 2004 Share Posted September 16, 2004 [U][B]Kings Unveil New Jerseys[/B][/U]Lubbock, TX - Lubbock Cotton Kings General Manager Fred Meseke unveiled three jerseys today along with several promotions for the 2004-05 season. "This is going to be a unique and memorable year," said Meseke. "We wanted our jerseys to reflect our goal and we feel they are extremely professional and classy." The Cotton Kings will also have a third jersey this season with a brand new logo. See below for a listing of the new jerseys and ground-breaking promotions for the upcoming season. Home Jersey (centre) The Cotton Kings home jersey is a white base trimmed in navy blue and yellow. The Kings updated shield logo is on the front of the sweater with both Eli ? the feisty cotton ball ? and a cotton boll on the shoulders. The player's nameplate will be in navy with the number being yellow and trimmed in navy. Road Jersey (right) The Cotton Kings road jersey is a navy blue base trimmed in white and yellow. The front of the jersey prominently displays the old-school look with "Lubbock" spelled out from the top right shoulder of the jersey to the left hip. Eli and the updated shield logo are displayed on the shoulder. The players' numbers will be yellow trimmed in white. Alternate "Third" Jersey (left) The Cotton Kings third jersey is a navy blue jersey trimmed in silver and white. The front of the jersey prominently displays "LCK" for the Lubbock Cotton Kings and has both the updated shield and Eli on the shoulder. The players' numbers will be silver trimmed in navy and white.YUCK! On a side note, i here the Tarantulas are going with a similar jersey style. The Edmonton Oiler Third jersey.
