Ez Street Posted January 18, 2005 Share Posted January 18, 2005 Chiefs have The T.D. Pack Band. Used to be lead by Tony Depardo(sp), but now I think his daughter leads them. Tony always played the trumpet, he was awesome. His daughter is just as good as he was. Last game I went to I noticed they didn't use the band as much. Just the lame stadium music everyone has. side note: If I have to hear "Black Betty" when the Chiefs kick off one more time....i'm gonna scream. Oh yeah that's right, we suck. slapshot Posted January 18, 2005 Share Posted January 18, 2005 A marching band can march onto the field, play a few songs, and march off in less than 12 minutes. As long as the band members are down at field level with about 5 minutes to go, it can be done, especially if you have an experienced loading crew to handle the podium and other stationary instruments. When I was in my high school marching band, we did this repeatedly. We actually managed two bands (home and away) in 12 minutes.
