Myron Posted February 13, 2006 Share Posted February 13, 2006 I've noticed through the years that each Olympics, both Summer as well as Winter, always have 2 logos. Apparently, when the host city makes a formal bid, they submit a logo. When the city is selected, a completely new logo is actually used as the official one. Strangely, the bid logo is always more colorful and attractive than the official logo used. I own a tee shirt showing the bid logo for the Salt Lake City 2002 Games and it is stunning.
