Can someone help me

I know that this should be in the illustrator help thread, but nobody responds to it. I was trying to save a concept for the web, and it kept saying that there was an unknown error. See, I had been working on them for a few days, and I would save them as an AI, then open them the next day to work on. I think it has something to do with that, because I did a logo concept real quick, then went to save for web first, and it let me do it. If anybody has any ideas on what to try, so it will let me save it, please tell me.
