capn89 Posted September 13, 2006 Share Posted September 13, 2006 i was disappointed by my first impression of nhl 07. it bothers me that the game includes anaheim's new jerseys, but the ducks' goalies still wear purple gear.essentially this is just nhl 06 with a few minor tweaks and updated rosters. thats pretty much why i stopped buying the nhl series after NHL 2002. if all i need to do is download an addon from nhldepot or thunderpuck containing the updated uniform and rosters, then why bother buying the next game in the series when i can simply update my uniforms from downloads. the graphics were basically the same give or take graphic tweaks or gameplay tweaks but nothing worth the price of a new game. thunderpuck? what's that? I'm not familar with any thunderpuck Me and you go back to the old days of NHLDepot. It's a shame that site has really fallen off the edge of the Earth and has become awful. It really started going downhill around the time of NHL 2003 into 2004, when the games become crappier and harder to mod. Also when Rico handed control to a self-righteous tyrant.
