habsfan1
That's just so sad. He died at a really young age. He didn't seem to have a history of heart problems or anything of that kind so it's just surprising and very weird when these situations happen. RIP. Neon_Matrix
I just saw this guy play in Peterborough last saturday... this is sad. He looked very good on the ice too... such sad news. Whats sad is the guy who died last year the day after christmas in that tournament thing in Toronto was my cousin, and they determined he had heart problems... so now I'm slightly paranoid that I may have them too. habsfan1
Also, when I first heard the words "tragic" and "hockey" in the opening of sportscenter, I thought for a split second that it was Zednik.

SG30
Thats just a horrible story. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family, friends, and teammates. The whole reason Ted Nolan wasn't behind the bench for the first period of the Islanders/Sharks game is because he was on the phone with his son, who played with Mickey and was terribly shaken up.
