"Political tags - such as royalist, communist, democrat, populist, fascist, liberal, conservative, and so forth - are never basic criteria. The human race divides politically into those who want people to be controlled and those who have no such desire."

1) George Harrison visited his sister, Louise, in Benton, Illinois.

2) At the Indra and Kaiserkeller nightclubs in Hamburg, Germany.

3) Paul flew INTO the USSR, FROM Miami Beach.

4) Starting from Southampton (where they're initially denied an exit visa), the lyrics categorically indicate that John and Yoko travel to Paris, Amsterdam and Vienna. While Peter Brown calls to say that the couple "can get married in Gibraltar, near Spain", the lyrics never make clear that they actually travel there.

Bonus: This question is a bit confusing, given that the Beatles and Beach Boys have gone on record with regard to the musical influences they provided to each other. Paul McCartney has said that the introduction to "Here, There and Everywhere" was influenced by the harmonies of the Beach Boys, particularly "God Only Knows" (the B-side to "Wouldn't It Be Nice") from "Pet Sounds". Moreover, Brian Wilson has said that the Beatles' album "Revolver" was the inspiration for the Beach Boys' album "Pet Sounds", which the Beatles' admitted inspired their album "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band". There are also similarities between a pair of the bands' earlier songs (both from 1963): the Beach Boys' "In My Room" and the Beatles' "There's A Place".
