Look at that Bears WR I think his name was Wendall Davis he had both knees destroyed running on the truf at the Vet. Puckguy14 Posted February 21, 2004 Share Posted February 21, 2004 That turf at the Vet was horrible then they even installed the Fieldturf like substance and had to cancel that Eagles Ravens preseason game because the turf was unsafe.I actually liked Astro Turf. And this is coming from a guy who tore his knee ligaments! My college has the astro turf and when it rained, it was slick so sliding was fun in flag football and it made it more bouncy! I have a pic of me running (ok rumbling stumbling) 80 yards for a TD and I look like I'm off the ground because of the softness.RIP Astroturf.
