andrewharrington Posted May 21, 2009 Share Posted May 21, 2009 If you're looking for something fun, entertaining and out of the norm to do, go check out the College Ultimate (as in Frisbee®) Championships at Fred Beekman Park at the corner of Lane Ave and Kenny Rd near Ohio State Univ campus. You're guaranteed to see some of the country's best athletes playing one of the fastest paced and most physically demanding sports. There will be games all day Friday and Saturday, but if you're looking for the best action of the weekend, I'd suggest showing up at the fields along Lane Ave around 1:30 PM on Sunday, May 24 for the quarterfinals (semifinals to follow at 4:30). The National Championship Final is Monday afternoon (12:30) at Central Crossing Stadium if you're looking for something to do on your day off from work.
