mjrbaseball Posted May 25, 2009 Share Posted May 25, 2009 I was quite troubled by the Firestone commercial aired during the Indianapolis 500, the one that went "Take me out to the Brickyard..."The Indy 500 has an incredible number of its own traditions and customs, far more than most sporting events. Why does an advertiser need to borrow a tradition from another sport? With Indy's rich history, surely they could have come up with something that wasn't so baseball-related.
