But maybe darken the green a little bit? One thing that's bothering me a little is the gold outline around the LA part of the secondary. I think the vibrancy in the colors just works well with the logo. The green and gold looks better than the original and I guess you have the connection of gold through the culture. Don't know if that came out right. I just think of Cortez and his men searching for gold. I have no idea how it would look as I am not an artist, but could gold be integrated into the purple and orange? May look hideous, I am just brainstorming.I agree with firefly that the primary is getting a little lost on the helmet. Also, regarding the "A" in your wordmark, I always see a "4" first.
