The situation begs for people to be confused because the #7 on offense is quarterback Dan Persa. It's amusing to overhear people who don't realize what's going on say things like, "Wait, Persa's playing safety too? We need him at quarterback!" The safety is actually Hunter Bates. It's highly unlikely the two would ever be on the field at the same time, but I'll keep an eye out for it.EDIT: I should also mention that NU sells replica #7 jerseys so you get two players for the price of one.
