Jaybird
I had always wondered about the logo that the Milwaukee Braves and the Atlanta Braves used before the A-Braves went to the Tomahawk logo full time. It is the one with the Cheering Brave (Native American) with a single feather, earring, and mohawk haircut. Here are some examples:Does anybody know the history of the logo and who was the creator of it?PS Also, I had seen a variation of the Braves logo with the Cheering Brave on a blue background but the Braves font was the one that matched the jerseys (1976-present). Atlanta Braves, please bring back the Indian Head logo.
Gothamite
I'm pretty sure that it was introduced before the 1957 season, but I don't know anything about the designer. The Green Bay Packers Uniform Database! Now in a handy blog.
