NJTank Posted May 19, 2004 Share Posted May 19, 2004 I began my career with teh 49ers in 1978 losing my job to Joe Montana in 1980. In 1981 I was on the Broncos where another HOF QB would take my job in 1983. In 1984 I moved on to Tampa and played with the BUcs until 1987 when another young QB who went on to have a long career pushed me out. In Kansas City starting in 1988 I finally started a playoff game in 1990, but following the 1991 season I was dumped again. In 1992 I returned to Tampa, after starting the 1993 season with the BUcs I was sigend by the Dolphins after Dan Marino was injured.
