geminijoe28 Posted May 20, 2004 Share Posted May 20, 2004 May 18, 2004 - The Central Hockey League is currently wrapping up final plans for the annual CHL Spring Conference, scheduled for June 3rd through 5th at the Pointe Hilton ? Tapatio Cliffs resort in Phoenix, Arizona. This year?s theme is ?The Road Ahead?, with team owners, governors, coaches and staff all involved in numerous scheduled planning sessions for the 2004-2005 season. Included will be discussion regarding new rules and regulations for the coming season, as well as division and conference alignment plans and playoff format among numerous additional discussion topics. The 2004 CHL Spring Conference begins Thursday, June 3rd, with Governors Meetings and a Keynote address, followed by a poolside welcome reception that evening. Friday, departmental breakout sessions are planned for Communications, Ticket Sales, Corporate Marketing and Hockey Operations. Two social events will follow the meetings on Thursday, with the Annual CHL Golf Scramble (at the Lookout Mountain Golf Club) beginning in the afternoon while other delegates will attend the Arizona Diamondbacks vs Los Angeles Dodgers major league baseball game that evening at BankOne Ballpark. Saturday morning the departmental breakout sessions continue, followed by a roundtable session involving CHL owners and general managers. The Spring Conference wraps up Saturday evening with the CHL Awards Banquet, where 13 recipients will be honored by the CHL, including the announcement of the 2003-2004 Franchise of the Year.hmmmm..im not sure how i feel bout that logo....
