youcan'tseeme
so recently I've been looking a t some WHA jerseys online and obviously you cannot get an authentic new WHA jersey anymore, but there are replicas being produced. Does the company making them (K9? I believe was the name) own these trademarks? Does the NHL? Does anyone, are they vacant with the teams folding? Raymie
Cincinnati: There are four trademarks on Cincinnati Stingers, three dead and one live. The live trademark is owned by a Texas corporation called Classic Ink, Inc. None of the dead trademarks were from the WHA itself.Indianapolis is a completely different situation (no WHA and four of the five filings for the term are from a youth hockey association). The situation is a patchwork ? nobody has San Diego Mariners any more, though the Classic Ink people had filed for it prior (under some other auspices).
