timmy b
hi.i am a fervent collector of "big event" programs (super bowl, world series, stanley cup, nba finals), and i am wondering why does the nhl remain the last sport to let the teams print and produce the programs as opposed to the league. not that there's anything wrong with that, but it remains a curiosity to me. it took years for baseball to finally print a decent world series program (from 1974 (when they took over production fron the teams) thru 1992, they printed a really crappy program). maybe this would happen if the nhl took over the production of the stanley cup program, bu the nhl has done the all-star program for sometime now, and they do a pretty decent job (especially the 2000 toronto game).any thoughts??timmy b
