See Red
You know why Francis has made the playoffs just once? It's because the majority of his time spent with the Rockets were spent with the Rockets in a rebuilding mode. The same situation Steve Francis is trying to avoid. Going to the magic will guarentee he goes to the playoffs less than now because with Grant Hill taking up just about half of the Magic's room under the cap, it's impossible for them to build their team into a winner until he retires. You're trying to tell me a player who, in 2003-04, joined Oscar Robertson, Magic Johnson and Grant Hill as the only players in NBA history to average 15 points, five rebounds and five assists in each of their first five seasons is too unproven to say where he wants to play? Francis is a big enough name to dictate where he plays, he's played in more all-star games than alot of players have in their first 5 years. NJTank
Yes.Unless he gets a No Trade Clause he has no say, and Francis is a good player and I'm sure he will do well in Orlando, but this is a joke this is why athleetes are seen as spoiled brats. www.sportsecyclopedia.com For the best in sports history go to the Sports E-Cyclopedia at http://www.sportsecyclopedia.com
