builtbymachines Posted February 22, 2018 Share Posted February 22, 2018 The following is my concept for the inevitable Seattle NHL expansion team... My idea: The Seattle Tritons. Triton is a mythological Greek god, the messenger of the sea. He is the son of Poseidon Like his father, Poseidon, he carried a trident. I didn't want to create a character, figuring that would be left for promotional stuff or possibly a wordmark. Instead I opted to create a logo that would be simple, yet detailed. I'm sure this isn't my completely finished product, especially since I'd like to incorporate a conch shell in there somehow, without it coming off as corny or out of place. (The font used is "Evil Dead" , which I found at www.dafont.com - created by Daniel Goulart Araujo, so all credit for that goes to him) (The Space needle was created by Jakob Wells over at www.thenounproject.com) I only manipulated the top needle part to make it sharper.) I'm looking forward to any ideas you all might have..... Updated Logo(2-22-18): Altered the shield/badge some, tweaked the colors and added some windows to the Space Needle.
