A month or 2 ago, there was a thread that linked to another site on how to make logo's look like more realistic crests.

I can't seem to find that thread on here (that linked it) and i have searched for a while now.

BTW, Corel DRAWings is a great program for automatically creating such logos using vector art. It has all sorts of different embroidery types and patterns.

Corel DRAWings; it's not included with the Corel Draw suite. It's an expensive program, so if you're just going to do a couple of things, it's not really worth it.

I'm not worried about the cost of a program, that doesn't matter to me. I just want to learn techniques and be able to be as well rounded in the graphic arts world so my presentations for my work are strong (yes us interior architects gotta brush up on presentation skills).
